          Thank you so much for reading Nocturne! I tried a lot of new things with this one and hope to return to Nikolai and Aaron in the future. But of course, the next thing I'll be posting is Fireheart! December seems to have got away from me with holiday prep and horrible colds taking it right out of me, so the book will go up the first Saturday of 2025 (4th January) to resume the Saturday posting schedule the following weekend. This allows me to get a bit further ahead on my buffer and have a bit of a posting break for the holidays :)
          
          And so I guess that's me signing off for 2024 (though I'll be in and out for comments etc)! I finished Angelfire and Nocturne this year, and started work on something new and exciting as a result of my art course and future goals with writing and illustration. My writing goals for next year are pretty simple: I'm going to be focusing on Fireheart! I've yet to finish a Whispering Wall book within a year, so I'm not making that a goal XD But I am *also* working on the script for a webcomic which more information will be out about later in the year. It was originally a novel idea that I've adapted, that I'm hoping to make really good progress on in 2025!

          I have finished writing Nocturne offline! Since the final chapter is pretty much full-length and still needs some tweaking since I wrote it quite quickly, I will be posting it on Saturday as usual! Then Nocturne will be done and dusted :D I'm not planning to leave Nikolai and Aaron indefinitely though ;)
          
          In the meantime, Fireheart now has my writing focus! I'm so excited for it. I will be making the cover and writing the blurb soon, and once those go up, uploads will start the following week. It won't be before Christmas due to seasonal busyness but I am aiming for not long after ;)

Hello there! I meant to have a Nocturne chapter out this week, but I was unfortunately pretty ill for a big chunk of the week and I haven't had quite enough time to catch up with myself. I am hoping to get the update out on Monday instead. Apologies for the delay, with Christmas coming up I never have quite as much wiggle room as I expect to ':)
          
          I hope you are all well, and I'll see you on Monday with the update instead <3 I will probably then have finished Nocturne, and will be aiming to get Fireheart up and running on the old posting schedule in a couple of weeks' time <3 (I don't think I've ever managed to time a book so that it can be a bit of a Christmas/New Years gift before haha. there's a new pov character! there was a clue on who in Angelfire ;))

          I *believe* all that remains of this book is one chapter and a short ending chapter (don't hold me to it, I'm not quite finished writing XD But that's my most accurate guess before *actually* finishing it). I have been making steady progress on Fireheart and still hope to have it out sooner rather than later i.e. later in December! I'm on track for it so unless you hear otherwise, that's the plan.

          I wrote a book and posted all 31 chapters in 1 day and yet I got no comments or likes or followers I posted the book 2 days ago and got 72 reads.
          Can you please help any support is appreciated.

          I'm estimating a maximum of three more chapters in this book, though it may be two in the end. I am still working on Fireheart, and would like to begin posting in late December if timing allows. The month is very busy with various things, but I'm seriously itching to get back to the series as my main project! I just really wanted to complete Nocturne before going all-in or it wasn't going to get done. With next week's update I should know how many chapters are left in it :) As I have done before, I will reveal the cover and blurb for Fireheart one week before posting starts, so once you see the cover, the story is coming very soon after!

Hello there! I did intend to have a new Nocturne chapter out tonight, but I currently have an internet outage, possibly due to the storm going over the UK at the moment, and I don't have an accessible copy of the chapter on my phone (organised as I am)
          
          I have no idea how long the outage is going to last, so if it turns out I can't post tonight, I will post at the first opportunity, hopefully tomorrow! Apologies for the delay, and I'll see you with the next one as soon as I'm able! <3

          So I may have started writing Fireheart o.o  I am still nailing down parts of the outline, but I also felt ready to start as the first couple of arcs and all the plots and characters' end goals are pretty solid in my mind, and I'm not rushing with it. But I have started! I am going to be building up a buffer of chapters, so that I can keep up with myself easily once I start posting - plus I haven't got together a cover or written the blurb yet ':) I just thought you guys might be interested to know that things are underway, and I'm so excited to share it ;) I am *hoping* to begin posting some time in December, but as I said last week, it's a very busy time of year and I do have dental surgery soon, so things may not go the way I'm hoping. It'll really depend on how hard that hits me so I don't want to make firm promises until I've made some good headway. This should not affect the Nocturne posting schedule though, there's really not many chapters left in that story.

          I hope you enjoy it! I think there are only a handful of chapters left in the book to be honest, it's a bit longer than it would have been if I was still writing it for the ONC contest but not by too much. I have started outlining Fireheart ;) I will probably start writing as soon as I've finished Nocturne, circs willing, though I do have more dental surgery scheduled for later this month so I am playing it by ear still. Apologies for having no solid dates, it's just a busy season :')
