If you're reading on the Android app
and an obnoxious stupid game ad comes up at the end of the chapter
close the app
reopen and get back into your book
usually you can go to the next chapter skipping the ad
overall a time saver plus you don't see much of the dumb ad

No, wattpad, believe it or not there's not too many interruptions. Without the ads I'd just be binge-reading that much faster, and the ads let me actually absorb a bit of the story, savor it, appreciate it.
So no, I won't pay to stop ads.
Wattpad ads are pleasantly non-targetted, like tumblr's. Nice to know they don't appear to be making any sense out of reading habits... The interruptions in reading can be jarring but tbh it's occasionally good to have something knock me off of a binge read from time to time!
Does anyone else have problems with the page-mode reading clipping text? Often it seems to lose a line or two at the end of a page and I have to change font size to see it. I just changed to scroll mode which doesn't have the issue at all but I prefer page mode but not at the price of lost text!
@MarionBelleKnight I (so far) like the style of your writing - I'm sick of fairy tales and Mary Sues; I'm much more likely to enjoy a thought- (and emotion-) provoking tale than any other, and the perspective your writing provides is just right.
