✋️ Okay, almost fell for some scammer/s offering to draw comics for my stories.
To anyone else who gets offered by an artist to make art for them, do not comment immediately. Background check them first. But do not just start interacting just because the internet doesn't straight up say the account is a scam.
Actually, this goes for literally any internet interaction. NEVER DROP YOUR GUARD FOR SOMEONE WHOSE FACE AND/OR BONES YOU DO NOT KNOW.
I wish that if I ever get offered to see fanart of my stories, they are offers from real ones. And that if I find anyone who interacts with me anywhere, whose face I do not know, I want that person to be a real one as well—a person, at least. Wish that upon yourselves, too, dear readers. Be careful, stay vigilant, and pray that Jesus protects you from these intentions.
