In general when people leave rude comments about characters or whatever in your book and then they have the audacity to get all mad and leave another comment saying. “Thank you for deleting my comments. It’s sad how some authors can handle genuine criticism.”
Like Excuse Me, but genuine criticism and rude shit talking comments are completely Different. And you’re Mad? Piss off and go touch grass.

@ hannahGE_ I’ve already experienced this, but I just deleted the comment and the person didn’t come back afterwards.
However, I’ve had it happen several times where someone asked for v4v and I said no, and the person became horrible in their remarks just because I said no…
Anyway, it’s really unfortunate. People like that have no place on an app like this. There’s a difference between giving constructive feedback and being rude, it’s not that hard to be kind when writing one...

@hannahGE_ The fact that they came back to check the comment gets me. I leave comments on books and don’t go back to check them. It feels like they wanted the drama. Sorry you had to go through that. I was added to a DNF list here, which felt hurtful as again it’s not genuine feedback. I can’t improve if I don’t know why you DNF ♀️ People are free to not like my books or my writing but advertising on a reading list like that feels damaging.

Yes! When a reader makes a comment and I try to go view it, it says the comment can’t be displayed. It’s been doing that for quite a while.
