@prinxessjocey she who must not be named lowk sucks at world building and giving the characters depth and so the fact that Marauder fans would much rather treat ATYD as the canon Marauders despite the fact that none of the Marauders would actually act like in the story isn't too surprising. I'm not the biggest Marauders fan bc a lot of the fans are lowk hypocrites and weird, so I'm biased but if the Marauders were real, Sirius would not be nice, he would be a bitch cause at the end of the day, he was really only loyal to James and we see that when Sirius was willing to expose Remus' secret if it meant they messed with Snape. Sirius was not a nice person!!! That's why people believed he was James and Lily's killer and got himself locked up!!! I like when authors are accurate when it comes to the Marauders, but bc they're kinda 2 dimensional or whatever and she who must not be named sucks at writing complex characters, there's really nothing much to go off of besides Snape's worst memory chapter and the small bits and pieces we learn about them throughout the series

@harrypottersbiawaken yes like if harry and the marauders were in school together, harry wouldn’t fuck with them and vice versa! one of the main reasons sirius and remus are so loved is bc their actors did amazing with their roles but i wish fanfics showed us a lil more accurate marauders rather than fanon marauders but ig it also doesnt help tht she who shall not be named didnt really develop them outside of wizarding war backstories so it gives plenty of room for writers and readers to create these fanon personas like there was a reason it was believable tht sirius couldve been lily and james killer thts why his ass was locked up!!! 

@prinxessjocey yeah the fact that James bullied a malnourished and abused half blood just for his son to be the exact person they bullied is so ironic. And I'm pretty sure Remus and Sirius actually defend James to Harry, not even realizing that if Harry wasn't James' son, he would've been the exact person they bullied and probably not gaf about. If it wasn't for the fact that Sirius hated his family and went against a lot of their traditions (like being a blood purist, being a Gryffindor, etc) and started hanging out with James and the others, he PROBABLY would've turned out like Narcissa and Bellatrix and joined the DEs. James and Sirius are both rich purebloods who are mean for the love of the game and the only reason they're not blood purist is cause James and his family like muggles and Sirius is a rebel who DID NOT fuck with his family in any way

@prinxessjocey he definitely is one of the blueprints without being officially named the blueprint, especially for male yanderes. Like, he was down bad for Veronica and already planning to die with her, like a couple days or weeks after meeting her

this makes a lot of sense especially as you see the movies progressing, he’s lowkey one of the unintentional yandere blueprints
