Semi-crazy 30-something who is 23 in spirit. Embarrassingly addicted to my job. When I get free time, I love to write. Humor is my favorite, but I've been getting into action lately, too.

I have totally weird taste in literature. Books have to be either tragic or hilarious. I am not a big fan of romance. Science fiction and I have a love/hate relationship; I'm pro dystopia (ever since I read Brave New World in junior high, I've been hooked) but anti space stuff (Ender's Game was an exception because my friend bugged the hell out of me to read it- and I'm glad I did). I love Victorian Literature because it's so dark and angsty. Thomas Hardy's stuff is among my favorite for this reason (Jude the Obscure is amazing; it was banned during its time because of the graphic violence and crap). In addition to Brave New World, I like the original dystopian novels, which include 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. The Harry Potter series was brilliant and made me cry. I also enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy (though I wasn't as impressed with the last book).

I love humor. David Sedaris is my favorite humorist of all time. He is who I mold myself after when I write. I've met him twice. The first time, I spit out incoherent babble to the effect of, "I..read...book..love you," which made him smile at me like I was a mental patient. The 2nd time, I wrote down what I had to say. He laughed and invited me to crouch down for a long talk, pissing off the long line of people behind me. It was magic.

Music has been in my DNA since birth. I grew up on classic rock, but I literally love every genre. My 2 fave bands of all time are Queen and Fall Out Boy. It has to do with musicality and lyricism. It also doesn't help that over time, these 8 men have made me question my homosexuality (ha-ha).

I've recently discovered this thing called 'fanfiction'. I am ashamed. And a terrible adult. But it's been fun to read from various writers about how they think the bands would interact.
