check out some militant disability groups like ADAPT (adapt.org) and in California berkley-disabled@yahoogroups.com. and you would probably love the video "When Billy Broke His Head" by Billy Golfus. I know Robin who you will see in the video,. one of the smartest women you could ever know. lets just say I rode with her in her van "once" it was a unique experience but she has not had an accident so.
on the side I fly a glider (www.freedomswings.org) hand contolled aircraft in silent flight. worth the experience if you ever get the chance (Williams flying center in Williams Calif may be able to help they have an ASK21 which can be fitted with hand controls) so even the Sky is not the limit.
keep writing and write some more it will help you become a better writer. you are good and getting better.
as Robert Heinlien said, "take big bites, moderation is for monks" they don't get it but you do. and by the way there are lots of "tricks" you learn as you break the bonds of those trying to determine what you can do or want rather than what you really can do and want. ignore them, you can do anything if you want to bad enough.
take care and keep writing
