Also, sorry for asking and bothering you again.

          I wonder in the cafe scene why Shin burden himself by paying Kurone and Kenji bill rather than he pay for himself and left them alone, facing the scrunity from the waitress? I feel like by making him pay everything is just like his entire standing up is gone in a drain.

          Maybe would it better if there's a change in the cafe scene by making Shin pay for himself before left while the couple faced humiliation. But it's your decision and I just give a suggestion.

          Anyway, can you give any explanation about the paying the bill scene? Or maybe other plot where Shin demanded the couple for their debt they owed on him? Albeit I much prefer the former one since it matches with Shin's defiance.

          Anyway, thank you.

@iRyukiro Thanks for the explanation.

            However, what kind of 'something worse' that Kurone will executed. Plus, it seems your explanation is contradicted with what happens in the story. In here, you said that Kenji had money, but in your story, Kenji only had platinum card and the payment only on cash. Safe to assume that in this case, he's penniless.

            Need another explanation, please.

@Red_Crayfish100 I can write an alt scene just for you. I can do this.

            But no, Kenji and Kurone wouldn't be humiliated. If Shin hadn't paid and run away, they would've just thought that Shin would've been pathetic, like "Oh, look at him, he's just jealous!" And Kurone would've surely done something worse to have 'revenge' or gain control over him again.

            Shin paid because he remembered Akane. He was about to run away, but he didn't because he remembered Akane's words.

@iRyukiro Okay.

            Anyway, wonder if Shin didn't pay them, would it better since it force both Kenji and Kurone in humiliation because of his defiance. Or maybe you have another explanation.

            Albeit maybe you can write the alt scene where Shin left them to pay for themselves.

            Sorry for keeping asking this.

Read your story. But to be fair, why don't make Shin more assertive and active or being harsher toward Kenji?

          I feel most MMC is always been written as passive one, with no single spine on it.

          Sorry for the gripe. Will be there any change on it?

iRyukiro

@Red_Crayfish100
            Don't worry about that, you're not bothering.

            Mmmh.. I can't answer why the betrayed is almost always male, but I think it's because most of these stories are male-oriented, maybe, idk...

            If Shin had been the 'cheater', the story would be the same.

            Now, to delve more into the topic: the word 'revenge' can express one million things (Even smiling again is considered a revenge), and all the questions you've asked will be answered in the future chapters.

            Also, the promise: Yes. It's not an eternal vow, and anyone can forget. But, in this specific case, it's not that easy. There's way more to that, a lot more. (I'd have to make spoilers here, so I'll stop.)

             You'll soon find out why Shin had reacted that way, Akane's role in all of that, and how he's gonna move on.

            Also, if Shin and Kurone's roles were reversed, I'd give the same treatment. Knowing me, I'll probably make an alternate story or a 'what if' one day.

@iRyukiro Also, I think the 'revenge' is too much and the promise is taken too seriously like some kind of marriage vow (sorry for exaggerating)

            We know that childhood promise are doomed to be broken because outside force or time. Plus there's no single eternal bound/vow between Shin and Kurone. So what Kurone done is natural and realistic and she didn't do anything wrong except 'break' the promise. So, I think 'revenge' is pretty unnecessary, but it depends on you. Maybe any explanation why should be 'revenge' there?

            Also, sorry for asking this. If Shin and Kurone switched role, like Shin choose another girl and humiliate Kurone in cafe, will you give the same treatment of 'revenge'?

            Sorry for keep bothering you.

@iRyukiro Okay. Albeit I feel that his meekness and passiveness is too much, like he didn't any single courage to say no, especially in the paying bill part where he could simply just go and ignore her, forcing her and Kenji to pay everything.

            Also, wonder why the betrayed one is always been the male one and the traitor is always female one? I've never seen the vice versa in anti-ntr story like this. Feels like too biased to one gender where male MC is always faithful while female MC always been a traitor.

            Hope there will be kind of alt story where the role is reversed or both party being guilty of betrayal, not one sided.

            Sorry about that.
