Hey, I thought since you've read a lot of angst you'd know maybe just maybe how to deal with a person who started slapping herself and crying a lot since she had been scolded a LOT and when I asked her why she was doing this the first time she said she was practicing so that if her parents slap her again ( don't worry it's the kind of slap when you're parents slap you for doing something really wrong such as watching youtube during online class) she won't feel hurt but after some more pestering she told she can't do anything right and feels useless and I'm really concerned but I don't what to do. She's only 8years old!!

Maybe if she were a bit more older I would’ve given a better solution but how about you get a cookie jar and fill her with her favourite things and each time she maintains a good habit reward her with one of it ? So that even if for the sweets she’ll develop good habits and maybe stop lying to her parents ? Idk I tried my best ;-;
