Hi! Since I’ve always written dark romance, this series has become one of my favorites. I’d really love to know if you’re enjoying it so far.

I have to admit I’ve been a little discouraged when it comes to writing lately, but this story has completely reignited my excitement. I genuinely can’t wait to keep writing it.

And yes… get ready, because it’s only going to get darker.

I’d really love to hear your thoughts, though. You’ve all been so quiet lately, and your feedback means a lot to me. What do you think so far?

Hi, sorry if this is weird but I've been trying to @ you for this awards that I think is perfect for you, https://www.wattpad.com/story/409592591-feline-genuine-awards-open-for-2026. But the @'s been buggy lately. I also want to say I love your stories, I'm currently reading Red Bows and I'm obsessed with the way you make me feel like I'm there in person. You make it so easy to get lost in book. I don't want to fan girl too hard, I hope you have a wonderful day/night.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! That’s incredibly sweet of you. Honestly, I don’t mind at all when someone acts a little like a fangirl.

Just tell me what you’d like me to do or what exactly you’re asking.

I also heard that Wattpad has been having some issues with comments lately, so that might be why.

I am trying to reply to ur comment, but wattpad is giving me issues, so I came here.

Regarding ur comment; I love the story so far, but the male characters picture was what threw me off, cause I had already envisioned someone else, cause I was already ahead in the book, before I come back to see his pic. : )

italiancoco

Hi! I saw your comment. Which of my books are you reading?

As for the face claim, you’re completely free to imagine whoever you want—that’s the beauty of Wattpad. You can picture any person you like; what really matters is the character’s personality.

To be honest, except for one or two occasions, I rarely describe the male lead’s appearance in detail, so you can imagine whoever you want.

I just hope that won’t make you stop reading my books.

I’m tired of seeing every romantic book adaptation look exactly the same. I’m watching Off Campus on Amazon Prime and realizing that by 2027 we’re going to get flooded with romance adaptations from BookTok and romance novels… but it’s always white, white, white, white. Only white love stories getting the big productions.

And I keep thinking: how is it possible that Black girls — not mixed, not light skin, not “racially ambiguous” — but dark skin Black girls, still don’t get to be the main romantic lead in these stories? We deserve soft love stories too. We deserve to be desired, chosen, obsessed over, written beautifully and filmed beautifully.

I’ve read so many incredible romance books here in Wattpad , including stories I’ve written myself, and there are SO many amazing Black female characters that could carry entire romantic series. So why are we still invisible when it comes to mainstream adaptations?

I want a dark skin Black girl as the protagonist. Fully Black. Dark skin. Romantic lead. That’s it.

@italiancoco Hello,
I am a fellow dark skin black woman. As someone who is clearly not mixed or ambiguous I agree with you 100%. Many time I've watched movies where the black woman is always portrayed as a single mother, not married, constantly being traumatized by men. It's like the people who create these movies believe that love was only meant for white women while black women are meant to constantly be traumatized.

Hello to all my readers how have you been? I hope well.

This is an announcement to let you know that I probably won't continue the book you're currently reading: (The Doctor s hands ) It's a project I had kept for a long time along with other works I've written older ideas that I finally found the courage to publish. This one was meant to be a continuation of my last book, but the truth is I no longer have ideas for it, and it doesn't feel like mine anymore.

Honestly, I'd like to start something new and fresh, and really take the time to think it through. I do have a new idea, because this one now feels like a bit of an unnecessary extension.

That said, I'm still happy I started it and that you began reading it. I'm sorry but I just don't feel inspired by it anymore.

Hi guys… I can’t believe I’m saying this, but there’s officially a new story in town.

I’ve started writing a brand new book: The Doctor’s Hands… and yes, it will be Leonardo and Fatima’s story.

I truly hope you missed me a little, my dear readers, because I’ve missed you so much… and I cannot wait for you to step into this new world with me. This story is going to be intense, emotional, sensual, and honestly… a little dangerous.

I’m so excited to take you on this new journey, and I already know this one is going to be something special.

Important: I highly recommend reading Cannelle before starting this story, because this book is deeply connected to that world, those characters, and everything that happened before.

So first: Cannelle. Then: The Doctor’s Hands.

I seriously can’t wait for you to read it.A new adventure is coming… and it’s going to be wild.

Hi beautiful! I really love your books If you’re ever open to new ideas or trope requests, I’d be so happy to share some of my inspo with you! I have a lot of concepts and story ideas I’d love to see Black women in. I’m not much of a writer myself, but I’d love to contribute !

Hi, how are you all? I hope you’re doing well. As you know, I’ve finished writing my latest book, Cannelle, and I’d love to have a discussion down below about what’s inside the book. It has been my absolute favorite book to write
I truly loved every moment of working on it. I completely immersed myself in writing it, and I would really love to have a conversation with those of you who have read it, to talk a little about the themes, the characters, the moments, what you would have liked to see more of, what you would have liked to read or not read. I’d really love to exchange thoughts with all of you and talk about the characters as if it were a TV series.

Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you’re doing well.
I wanted to ask what you think about my new book so far. Are you enjoying it, or not really?
I’d really appreciate your honest feedback what’s working, what isn’t, and how you’re feeling about the story and the characters.

Thank you so much for reading and for taking the time to share your thoughts.
