Oh, you’re actually looking at this?
I’m flattered.
Time is precious, so a sincere thank you for sharing some with me.

Me? Call me Jonny. I’m 18, from Manchester (England), and live with my family: one brother, one sister and both parents. I now study English Literature, Theology and Greek at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. And by study I mean procrastinate, and by procrastinate I mean write. I have now laid before you the formalities of a first introduction.

Ah...you want to know more.
Well I’ve always loved writing, and have been doing so since the earliest part of my childhood. If you’re looking for a reason, the best I can supply is that my mother read The Lord of the Rings saga to me when I was 6.
I was absolutely captivated.
Ever since, I enveloped myself in all manner of fantasy worlds through both writing and reading. That inspiration has remained to this day.
In fact, for me, the definition of a good book is one which makes you utterly involved in the world you are reading about. You become a participant rather than a spectator.
As you can imagine, I don’t read books for their social commentary, or their relevance to contemporary situations. I read because fiction enables escapism.
In perhaps more direct terms, I don’t read Jane Austen.

Here’s a few of my favourite books:
-Artemis Fowl series.
-L.O.T.R saga.
-His Dark Materials series (Northern Lights etc.).
-The Inheritance Cycle (Eragon etc.).
-The Percy Jackson series.
-C.S Lewis, basically everything he’s written.
-A Series of Unfortunate Events.

I will keep writing, and, if I become more popular, then I shall add much more to this profile. I will attempt to earn your respect first.
Thanks once again.

Jonny.

Just a small collection of my own thoughts on the nature of fear. Enjoy, if that is the right word.
