Did you know, Suzanne Collins's father fought in the Vietnam war, which is where she got the knowledge of war and the effects it can have on people. Side note, the Hunger games movies are banned in Vietnam.

Well, the thing about Cinna's name I found out online, and the Capital bombing being like when we bombed Japan just kinda come to me one day when I was thinking about the Hunger games and how it connects to history.
