Wow, so my best friend just told me I hit 700 followers on here and I didn't believe her at all. I haven't been on here in literally forever because of college, but thank you guys so much! I do check in every now and again and I also wanted to say thank you for all of your continued support with Promises!! That story means more than the world to me and I'm so grateful and glad that you all like it too. Thank you for 30k reads. I truly had no idea anyone (outside of my close friends) would actually read it, but I thank all of you who have. Your comments always, always make me smile xx.
          
          I also wanted to say that while I do love all of you for caring enough to follow me, I want you to know that I most likely won't be posting any more original works here. I'm in college currently to study creative writing for it to become a career and in that, I'm trying to become published! I'll always be thankful for my readers here who have supported me since the day I made this account, but I want all of you to know that what is up now is all that I will be posting on here. I hope that isn't too disappointing and I'm sorry to say all this! But I didn't want you guys to be following me expecting a new story anytime soon.
          
          Again, I love all of you. So much. Thank you for all your comments, votes, support, messages, everything. It means more to me than I can ever describe to you.

Hi just finished reading promises.
          I really loved it and i hope you continue to write more beautiful stories and poems like it.❤

i know i am almost never on here anymore because so much is changing in my life right now, but i wanted to drop in for a moment and say that i see all of you. i see you reading Promises and i see the love you’re giving it, and i want to say thank you. 
          
          one day, mark my words, you will see that book (an updated version, and revised, i’m sure) on a shelf somewhere in a book store. i owe it to myself and to the girl i was when i wrote it to publish it one day — just for me, but also for you, who resonates with the story in a way i never really expected. 
          
          i see that it has reached 23k reads and i thank you for reading it. she is and forever will be a favorite of mine. 
          
          i realize now that this sounds like a farewell, but it’s not. the story is staying up for now, for as long as it can, because i have gotten messages and i see that it provides some of you with some peace. and i love that. it provided me with peace in the year of healing that i wrote it. and i’m glad it is doing the same for you. 
          
          that is all. 
          
          here’s to life’s ever-changing moments. at the end of it all, i will survive.

          i’m trying/starting to fall back in love with writing offline, meaning writing only for myself and whoever i want to see it (meaning friends i email who want a sneak peek and such). i think i’ve gotten caught up in the world of needing immediate feedback on anything and everything, which has become extremely toxic for me. 
          
          poetry is staying. random writings are staying. and so will Promises and The Chip. 
          
          but i’ve been writing a lot offline, away from
          this platform, and it’s been genuinely refreshing. 
          
          i’m not leaving. just taking a step back.
