I once thought writing a novel would be the first thing I accomplished in life. That I would write my first novel pretty early on - that one novel that just starts me on the path that leads to the rest of my life, and career, and fulfillment. I then learned that your life and career do not go hand and hand, and fulfillment is something you chase, but may not ever capture. Like how as humans we have the right to pursue happiness but are not guaranteed it.

I'm just a young woman chasing dreams by writing down words, living in the pages of my favorite books, hoping that one day a young person may live in the pages of mine.
