I'm writing a gothic vampire tale set in 1600s Slovenia, inspired by the very first documented vampire case (recorded by Valvasor). It follows Baron Wolfgang, a serf girl he falls for, and a cast of eccentric characters – including a fierce Venetian female physician and a timid runaway Jesuit priest. Witch hunts, religious tension, and a melancholic, darkly humorous atmosphere await.
My goal is simple: to create a world where you can escape and lose yourself for a while.
