I change y/n or m/n's gender to the opposite gender in fan fiction, one-shot, scenario, etc. books. You're free to request me stories to change y/n or m/n's gender or maybe their personality from a book so I can start and credit the original authors, and of course, ask for the their permission (which might take a while or a really long time).
