I think one of the problems with my stagnant writing is my doomer outlook. I realized I don’t even make up fake scenarios before sleeping, like I used to ALL the time and not so long ago. No daydreaming or *night*dreaming. I was such a maladaptive daydreamer. Now I’m decaying in too many ways to count.
This daydreaming and the fake scenarios were always the main source of the ideas for scenes and everything in general, as is usually the case for anyone I think. Without this, what hope is there for my stories?
Even though I have always, since a lil kid been pessimistic about the future, and that I have always been decaying, it’s like that capacity to escape suddenly broke, magic is gone. I used that escape for obvious purposes—I have never liked life, society, etc. as it is, so I always ventured to these safe spaces.
So now? There is no escape.
It’s weird, you’d think being in love, which I still am despite it all, would increase daydreaming, but I have been actively straying away from that as well to avoid a delulu state.
Also, got a new phone tho, maybe I can write better now without being put off by all the lag and crashes and stuffffff?
