@leperqueen I've noticed that the desktop version will save old work if you go back to previous versions of chapters you've written! I had this issue as well on my phone app, but once I logged in through a browser, I could see old edits. From what I understand, Wattpad will make edits (even current ones) disappear to save room for future edits. But for me, it only occurred on my phone, not on desktop. Hope this is useful :)

@-spiderland oh i definitely enjoy those types of remakes and retellings sometimes! I love the Beauty and the Beast story so I will always enjoy that too hehe. //
            And yeah! But so many people look “younger” than they are (i have baby face for example lol), idk what it is that just doesn’t click with me. No hate at all tho haha. Hopefully will be pleasantly surprised by the characterization in-movie. Looking forward to the music numbers the most yes!!!

@leperqueen agreed!! unless it's like those 2000s remakes of Shakespeare's plays (eyeballing A Cinderella Story rn, so goated), I rarely enjoy them. Beauty and the Beast was pretty solid though.
            Awww, I had no idea he received so much hate. That's cute though (the doodle), I'd do the same with my fancast for Antonio if I wasn't so terrible at drawing lol. And for Milo.
            The funny thing is that Milo is only a year apart from Flynn's canon age, he's 25 lmao. I think the issue is just the hairstyle imo. Maybe the facial hair, too. I wanted him to have a messier look and not such a clean part (especially the gel lol??), but alas, can't always get what we want. If they'd given Milo the same type of look he had during his Perazna photoshoot back in 2024-ish, he would've looked spot on.
            And same!! The brothers look really good. I'm pretty satisfied with most of the costume designs and the overall set look. All I'm waiting to hear are some snippets of the songs and I'd be sold, I trust the choreographers for the dance sequences :)

@-spiderland I think Milo is a decent enough cast, tho I picture Flynn kinda a lil more mature looking irl. Don’t much care for live action remakes tbh so don’t mind much. But ppl comparing Ferran to him is cute (the boy deserved all this love after all the hate he got) and it made me start making a doodle of him based on Flynn :’) // aside from that, i saw pics of the stabbington brothers and i actually thought they didn’t look tacky/cringy, which is usually the impression i get from live actions, esp production pics !!

To quote a recent review on my Baldwin story HCW:
          
          “I love how passionate you are about history and how you use history to make the story feel vibrant and alive. It is so refreshing from so called "historical dramas" who take so many creative liberties it destroys the immersion.
          Reading your writing feels like getting a look into the past. You make it flow so easily in the story, all the customs, government procedures, beliefs and societal norms, without resorting to info dumping.

          The wedding and the wedding night are my favorite chapters. You are really good at writing romance.           Ridley Scott in Kingdom of Heaven for example did not even name the King by name. He named him The King. This is a way to make the audience know they are not witnessing a historical work, but a creative retelling, a historical fiction work.

I certainly take a lot of liberties in HCW but this is because I have the knowledge of what I am writing, so I know how to break certain rules, which and when. And I don’t really break them, I adapt them within a plausibility, using the existing foundations.

everyone who supports something like Nolan’s “Oddysey” I bet you’re also the ones who love misrepresentations of Ancient Egypt and spreading misinformation about it XDDDDD yikes

          Creative liberties have a limit. If something is described, don’t inject your ego into it to change it. Otherwise at that point you are just making another story, so just admit it and sell it that way (like with our historical fics). You do not know better (especially not because you’re a “more advanced person from the “future””). Have some etiquette.

Ok im sorry ik im not updating, the reason is IM IN LOVE (still) and all I can think about is him. 
          
          Am still thinking about baldy and stuff ofc, and actually still drawing A LOT, even more. But sitting down to write becomes more and more difficult for me, partly due to focus issues (my hormonal imbalance bc of my condition causes focus and memory problems) and because writing makes me EEPY lolllll
          
          but i am writing a little here and there when i can i swear. I still love my stories just the same as always, it’s got nothing to do with that. 
          
          The crush i have is sooooo strong. When he hasn’t talked to me in hours i be yearninggggg. This is my first real adult crush. I’ve had crushes before but not many at all, they were when i was way younger and nothing that would be lasting you know? Like u just knew it had nowhere to go but u just had caught some feelings that would fade away. Ffs I once or twice crushed on gay men LOL and also, I typically only like men over 40. However, crush is only almost 30. When it’s this strong, you don’t choose it, it chooses you, ig. XD
          
          He’s got an interview with an Arab TV/media production company about his short film and works, and hes so busy :((((( but im proud of him. Allahuma barik. May God keep him
