@-spiderland lol no worries! it’s a bit chaotic but i love studying ancestry so anything i find interesting i add xD like for example rn my fam tree updated and says Abraham Lincoln is my 6th cousin four times removed. I already knew George Washington is my 5th cousin 8 times removed and that already made me AAAAAA

Not an amazing chapter overall, but there are nuances in it—I always cram nuance into everything lol. Even if the plot of one of my stories is not skillfully plotted, is all over the place, unclear, underdeveloped arcs… at least I hope my detailing compensates just a little.

I am UNABLE to watch Yellowstone. I tried years ago, got super upset at the horsie. Then I recently tried again and saw another hurt animal (besides the rodeos) and I’m like yeah I can’t. I love western type settings, has been one of my fascinations since I was little. Always wanted a ranch—but a rescue ranch lol (like my 19th century character Abraham). But seeing animals get hurt in media is a no-no for me. It happens once and you may get over it, but repeatedly? I am too sensitive nfjfjfkrkdkffb
@-spiderland agh i totally get you! I feel like some shows heavily rely on shock value, because they think they need to for some reason. That’s totally fine if it’s the call they wanna make, but if it don’t sit right with me I am not gonna force it no matter how many times they tell me it’s an unmissable masterpiece or smth xD But your mom’s comparison seems pretty valid and funny
@leperqueen felt. I tried watching it a few nights ago since my mom is a huge fan (she called it the Sons Of Anarchy of western-based TV lol) and I also enjoy western television / films, but I couldn't get into it the way she wanted me to. I think I just enjoy my Grit channel so much and stuff like Have Gun Will Travel that everything else seems too dramatized / modern? And the animal cruelty stuff is a little extreme tbh.

Technically it is native in the sense that my mom is English and I learned it since birth, but yeah it’s just the lack of experience in an English-speaking country that makes the difference—a big one for professional eloquence. But thanks for your wishes, maybe the way I write can someday be enough to publish! (Have to check first whether other things may hinder publishing too—like including famous singers with crazy copyright in the story lolll)

@nana978 i would love to finish writing this story this year, it’s highly unlikely as there are approximately 10 chapters more to be written, if not even more, and I don’t write that quickly. But it would be a dream to do so and have it published on Amazon by 2027
