اول شعر كتبته The first poetry I wrote 
تحيا عراقي الغالــــــــــــي   ـــــــــ       انت كالنور العالــــــــــــــي 
تنير قلبـــــــــــي وآمالــــي      ـــــــــ        فتحيي من روحي احزاني 
وتنسيني حزناً قـد مضــــى     ـــــــــ       او شراًقـــــد قضـــــــــــــى 
وتحيي فرحاً ميتاً في كياني    ــــــــ    او نوراً غافٍ في قلــــــــبي

في غرفتي .. in my room..  
كنت أسأل نفسيMint ask myself 
ما أسباب النجاح في الحياة؟What are the reasons for success in life 
فوجدت الجواب داخل الغرفة!I found the answer inside
 the room 
السقف يقول:  الطموح عاليًا The ceiling says the ambition is high 
الشباك يقول: تأمل الغد The net says meditating
 tomorrow 
الساعة تقول: الوقت ثمين The time says time is precious 
المرايا تقول: أبدأ بنفسكMirrors say start on your own 
الباب يقول: أدفع بقوةThe door says push hard 
أما الأرض فقالت:As for the earth, she said 
ضع أمنياتك في السجود،Put your wishes in prostration 
فإن الله لن يردك خائبًا..God will not return you 
disappointed
