I miss my Wattpad phase, I barely be on here no more :(
@zarathewhore_ OH MY GOD you speak for my soul.. till the end of August i had read like 40+ wattpad books. But now i just don't want to- the ones which actually sound good are all paid.. so now I've moved back to reading ebooks
Heyy I’m good hbu?
I hate you ❤
Can we talk about the pfp for a second♡
How ya doing?? Read anything good lately?
@zarathewhore_ ahhh rereading good books>>>>> And am doing good, am on some new shit lol
@AthenaGrey2005 hey! I’ve been doing good, just been on TikTok mostly & re-reading books :) how are you?
@zarathewhore_ i read this one called 'Sweetly and scientifically' , the fmc isn't exactly all rainbows but damn the book was so good<33 Also this one called 'Sweet as a Strawberry' ; it's kind of basic but i guess kinda cute too?
Y’all I never really understood the Bullies to Lovers Trope.. And there’s always that one excuse “i liked u and you ignored me so bullying you was the only way to get your attention” and they always try to normalize it with the guys trauma Lmfao
@curvylatinawritws-xx || yea that actually makes a lot of sense, and it is educational but I also think it shouldn’t have as much romance it in bc some ppl will still think it’s a toxic romance
@-rwritess | When you think about it, it's morally wrong, but you can see how it's related to life. When a person is traumatized by a certain individual there are many factors that contribute in the aftermath. In order to deal with trauma, your brain creates barriers or ways in general to cope. One of those ways is SH that ranges in a multitude of actions from skin picking, pulling your hair to extremities I won't mention due to its triggering nature. Another way is embracing the pain and seeking it or in this case falling for the person that hurt you when they show a lovable or vulnerable version of themselves. When this person has been so traumatized, their mind becomes fragile. There's an emotional and mental imbalance because for so long they've been programmed to react and feel a way that only their abuser has caused. When the abuser sees that this person starts to ''break'' by giving into their lies because that what they are, pure lies, that's when the toxic romances begin. They've spent all this time hurting that person that they used their fragile state to break them down even further until there is no more resistance from them. They start to be nice, kind, supportive, basically all that you want to get you to accept them and eventually fall for them. In these books I don't see it as promoting toxic romances or as encouraging it. It's educational in a way because despite the book being fictional, there are things that have and can happen. I, for one, was in a very toxic and abusive relationship and I can tell from experience that this is what it was like for me. Manipulation if done correctly, goes a long way. Manipulation isn't necessarily a bad thing it just depends on how the person chooses to use it. I say that it's not necessarily bad because I learned that you can reprogram your negative mind to be positive through manipulation. You have to sort of trick yourself into thinking positive and it helps. I hope this helps!
@zarathewhore_ Yes. YES. Y E S. I could scream this on a hill- i absolutely detest that trope and anyone who dares to compare it with enemies to lovers is screwed up there. Honestly it kinda reminds of those stupid 'ex-wife' tropes where the husband THINKS his wife cheated on him, he call her a slut/a whore and what not, the wife terms of to be pregnant- or even if not- many years later they made and he's like 'I still love you' like stfu u bastard
I kinda hate how some MCs in books talk about having a crush on the guy and how hot he is and how all the girls want him ect.. because the female lead doesn’t have a personality other than crushing on them and when the guy finally notices her he’s either a “fuckboy/player” or literally rude for no reason. (cliche) Also when they meet there literally is no chemistry between them.
@zarathewhore_ they are such pick me girls, like omg you're not special just because you don't care about social standards... like cool, but that doesn't make you the most qUiRkY girl in the world
@Author_And_Reader Fr that’s how literally most of the books go and the main lead always is like “he would never go for someone like me” I’m sorry but it’s giving pick me vibes:/ thats one of reason I can’t find any books
@zarathewhore_ ughh yess i hate how she's always like "i'll never fall for you " and then she has no personality other than "i'm not like other girls, I hate parties and i love reading at home"
Going back to my old Wattpad comments make me cringe so bad, like wtf was I thinking commenting something like that
