Magnus Bane is the High Warlock of Brooklyn. In the early years of his life, he developed his warlock mark which prompted his mother, once a loving woman, to kill herself. His father..., well, let's just say that's a topic he evades at all costs. Sworn to himself not to "get involved in shadowhunter business", he was stunned when he found himself in the midst of all the drama in Clary Fairchild, a young shadowhunter's, life. Perhaps, there's a certain...force that draws him in each time he isolates himself.

Magnus is quite magical, loyal, and superbly sarcastic. He loves rarely, in fear of heartbreak, but he loves unconditionally. He's glittery, likes to wear nail polish and redesigns his apartment at the snap of his fingers, literally. Oh, and he's a freewheeling bisexual soul.
