Selina was scowling as she walked through the cold streets , her nose wrinkled at the sight of the Christmas lights . God , she couldn’t stand it . Parents bribing their children with expensive gifts , acting like they’re a perfect family . Maybe it was because she had no one , out on the streets all alone . That’s why she hated Christmas . She was lost in her thoughts , her bitterness , that she bumped into someone . She stumbled and slipped on the icy ground , landing on her backside and groaning . Great , just great !
