Mike Flinn is an amateur historian and writer who lives in Dallas County, Iowa. He researched and wrote "Most Exciting Day" a true story about the 1895 robbery of the Adel (Iowa) State Bank. His historical fiction novels include "A Soldier's Bounty" a novel of the Civil War, "The Silent Cannons," the aftermath of the Civil War, "The Threshing Crew," WW1 and the Spanish Flu, "Hard Times and the Raccoon's Tale," the great depression and "An Old Codger's Take," the authors humorous and sometimes irreverent views on generational changes and today's world.
