Little Sneak Peak at Book 2: Chaining My Queen
Prologue:
Yuna hadn’t always been at the top of Lucifer’s mind. But things change with time. As she got older, he watched as she got stronger, more beautiful; and more dangerous. ‘I have to have her’. He’d thought one evening. Yuna was walking the streets of Hell, with a demon not worthy of her. He made her weak. There was only one way to deal with it; strike him down. Become who she relied on. Of course, even for The Morningstar, things weren’t remotely that simple.
That’s why he had killed the demon blinding Yuna’s strength. Lucifer not only wanted her; he wanted her power as well. The power of a demoness, mixed through generations, the power of a demoness whose bloodline ran back as far as when Lucifer was banished from heaven. A bloodline so powerful, they could kill the fallen angels, and rise again as the new Rulers of Hell.
Lucifer was first entranced by her silver eyes, the way they stared through him. Other demons didn’t look him in the eye, some didn’t even dare to even stand eye level with him.
Yuna’s family was different however. It drew him in.
He’d known about her longer than he’d actually known her. The ashfire scent that followed her, with a hint of something sweet. She was strange in appearance for being Hell-Born too.
Humanoid. No horns, no tail, skin tanned from being near firepits. She could easily be mistaken for a human. The most demonic things about Yuna were her pointed ears, and the slit pupil of her silver eyes.
Her own parents were Asterion, a beast standing at nine feet tall, covered in fur, and large black, soulless beady eyes, and horns, so long they curved all the way to the back of his own head. And a demonness, Naamah, who herself stood only six feet tall, well, when she wasn’t in her Other form. Naamah looked nearly as human as her daughter. Nearly. Naamah had hair that dragged to the ground, sharp fangs that didn’t quite fit in her mouth, and claws sharper than a tungsten needle.
