She had spent years learning how to disappear—how to make herself small, silent, forgettable. Fear wasn’t a feeling anymore; it was instinct, stitched into every breath she took. The past didn’t stay behind her. It followed. It waited.
So when the opportunity came to start over, she didn’t trust it.

New city. New life. New name.

And then there was him.The past had taught her one thing well—

Monsters didn’t always look like monsters.

So she should have recognized him for what he was.
He didn’t pretend to be kind. That was the first warning.Men like him didn’t hide behind charm or soft words. There was no mask—only control, cold and absolute. The kind of man people didn’t question, not because they respected him, but because they knew better than to try.
          He didn’t ask for things.

          He took.

Running won’t help you,” he told her once, his voice low, almost calm. Not a threat. Not a warning.
          A fact.
Because men like him didn’t hunt for sport.
          They hunted with purpose.
          And whatever he was—
He wasn’t drawn to her by chance.
He had been there long before she ever saw him.

          Watching.

          Waiting.

          Choosing.

Hi everyone
I’m so thrilled to finally share my very first book with you all!
          "WHERE THE STARS FINALLY ALIGN"
If you’ve ever felt like the world was moving too fast—like you needed more time to breathe, to build your own life, and to figure out who you are before saying "I do"—then Ananya’s journey is for you.
          The Story ️
Ananya Sharma wasn't ready for an arranged marriage, so she did the only thing she could: she booked a one-way ticket to London. What she didn't know? The man she left waiting at the mandap was Arjun Malhotra, the same calm, charming man she couldn’t stop thinking about since her sister’s wedding.
Years later, in a chance meeting under the London rain, fate gives them a second chance. It’s a story for:
✨ The girls who need more time to find their own feet.
✨ The ones who found their way back to the person they were always meant to be with.
✨ Lovers of slow-burn romance, family warmth, and "Big Fat Indian Wedding" chaos.
          What to Expect:
          Enemies-to-lovers lite & Friends-to-lovers vibes.
A male lead who is a dangerously patient gentleman.
A female lead who is a witty, clumsy cybersecurity genius.
A supportive (and hilarious) friend group and deep-rooted Hindu traditions.
"Some people are meant to find each other twice. The first time to remember. The second time to stay."

"Seedha khadi rahiye," he murmured, tone innocent, hands... not so much.

As he wrapped the saree around her, his fingers lingered at her bare waist a second longer than necessary. Just enough to make her shoulders tense. Once-very lightly-he pinched her side.

          She gasped. "R-Raghav-!"

"Shhh," he said smoothly. "Saree pehna raha hoon."

          Liar.

He leaned in slightly to fix the pleats, fingers brushing against her back where the blouse dipped low. His touch was warm, teasing, unhurried.

          Vanya's breath turned shallow.

Pagal hai yeh aadmi, she thought, heart racing.
          Subah-subah hi shuru ho gaye.

He noticed the way she stiffened, the way her hands clenched at her sides.

          And smiled to himself.

"Relax," he whispered, voice low near her ear.
"Aapne hi kaha tha... main pehna doon."

She swallowed, cheeks burning, eyes fixed stubbornly on the wall in front of her.

Kabhi-kabhi lagta hai... yeh mujhe jaan-boojh ke tang karte hai.

Behind her, Raghav was enjoying himself far too much.

But beneath the teasing, his touch stayed careful. Protective. Familiar. Like he knew exactly where the line was-and exactly how to make her feel seen, wanted, flustered.

As he worked on the pleats, he thought quietly:

          > "Itni pyaari lag rahi hai woh,
aur unhein khud bhi ehsaas nahi,
har ek muskurahat qatl-e-aam karti hai,
aur woh masoom si, is raaz se anjaan hi sahi."

 #MAFIA_SERIES

Aanya, stop," Adwait said, his voice slightly louder now, laced with warning.

She could see it-he was about to snap. Yes, yes, now he'll lose it, she thought, a thrill sparking in her chest.

But instead of reacting with anger, Adwait simply leaned back in the chair, eyes locked on hers. Then, without a word, he began to unbutton his shirt-slowly, deliberately-each movement exaggerated, until he yanked it off and tossed it aside.

Aanya's eyes widened. Her jaw dropped. Shock flooded her face.

"Ahhh! Shameless!" she shouted, spinning on her heel and making a dash for it.

But he was faster. Adwait stood in a flash, reached out, and caught her wrist mid-stride. She turned, her hand already balled into a fist, aiming straight for his face. But he caught it mid-air.

In one smooth motion, he twirled her under his arm like a dancer, then leaned in and pressed a bold kiss to her left cheek.

Her mouth dropped open again-outrage, disbelief, and something else flickering in her eyes.

She didn't hesitate. This time she lifted her knee, aiming for his stomach, but he caught her leg with ease. Sliding one arm under her knee and the other around her waist, he bent her slightly backward in a dramatic dip. Before she could wriggle free, he kissed her right cheek.

          Then-thud.

          He let go.

Aanya landed squarely on the floor, right on her backside.

Crossing his arms over his bare chest, Adwait looked down at her, a smug smile playing on his lips.

          "You lost," he said.
