Hi there! My name is Lindsey, and I figured you'd probably want to know some things about me as an author and reader.
Right now I'm working on a trilogy I have planned out, the first book being Serendipity, and hoped that if I shared it on Wattpad, it'd get an audience before it was published, so congratulations! You are my guinea pigs *maniacal laugh.*
Some personal facts: I love to write and hope to be a freelance writer as I get older, but want a career as an animation artist between writing books. I love to read too; I feel it's hard to love writing if you don't like reading, as reading is a great outlet for ideas and potential to grow as you work on your own writing! I like to read fiction, the dystopic genre mostly as of late, but can enjoy just about anything if it's written well. My favorite authors include John Green, Veronica Roth, and Joseph Heller. I have too many favorite books to list, and just as many movies and TV shows.
And last but not least, if you haven't noticed from my profile picture, I use a wheelchair. My exceptional condition is called SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), and if you'd like to know more, google it or watch Stella Young's "I'm Not Your Inspiration, Thank You Very Much" Ted Talk video. Because having a disability doesn't make you exceptional, but questioning what you think you know about it does.
Thank you for reading this far, and hope you'll read my book!

Hello readers! Antihero is a short story I wrote for NaNoWriMo, you should check it out. As a quick read and a rough draft, it might be a little rough still, so I'd appreciate feedback in comments. E...View all Conversations
