ik I said somethings about Australia being fucked up bug honestly what the fuck is going with America right now. And I don't mean the protests and rioting cause like they should go for it if they want to but im talking about the president. 
          
          dude had his nudes leaked, credit card information given out, he was exposed for being a child trafficking ring and for being a rapist, literally called the military on his own people, teargassed a bunch of protestors so he could take a shitty photo, literally committed fucking war crimes and not to mention he's a racist prick. but like HOW DOES HE STILL HAVE SUPPORTERS I DONT UNDERSTAND AT ALL

yo people really be like Australia not racist but ma'am our indigenous (aboriginal and torres strait Islander) community would definitely fucking disagree. 400 indigenous Australians have died in police custody, so stop saying we are better than America.
          
          not to mention the Islamophobia in this country is fucking insane. A SENATOR SHOWED UP TO THE SENATE IN A FUCKING BURQA LIKE COME ON. WE DO NOT FORGIVE PAULINE HANSON FOR BEING A RACIST FUCK. 
          
          The stolen generations are still alive mind you. It didn't happen "100 yEarS aGo" it ended in 1970. 
          
          For foreigners who don't know what the stolen generation is, it was between 1910 - 1970 where aboriginal children were taken to institutions, trained to be assimilated to Anglo-Australian culture. Policies included being punished for speaking their native tongue. The intention was to educate them for a different future and prevent them from being socialised in aboriginal cultures.
          
          I really need people to realise that America isn't the only country founded on racism and privilege. I hope if there is anyone in Melbourne that they can come attend the protest at noon on the 6th of June in the city. 

I keep seeing people use the #alllivesmatter in response to #blacklivesmatter, which I can see why people are using it but I can also tell they're not very educated on the subject. All lives do matter, obviously, we should all be treated equally no matter what. BUT the key word is should. Because black people are oppressed and are living through a fucking nightmare every single day. 
          
          They are clearly not seen as equal in the eyes of law enforcement and the justice system. They are not seen as equal in public spaces and employment industries. It's a big fucking problem and it fucking scares me when people say racism doesn't exist in the modern world because it fucking does.
          
          Anyways back on topic, if I was to say "gay rights" you wouldn't immediately combat that with "well all sexualities deserve rights". Because it makes no sense right? Straight people weren't the oppressed, homosexuals and transgender people are. Which is why we have pride. So saying "all lives matter" in response to "black lives matter" is not progressive. 
          
          My thoughts go out to any single African-American who was murdered by police or white supremists and their family. I know its not enough and won't bring their murderers to justice.
          
          I also wanted to say that a lot of people have also been commenting "thank god I live in Australia" on videos that show what's been going on, and I just wanted to say that Australia's treatment of aboriginals is fucking shocking till this day. And the fact that Americas memorial day completely overtook the fact that it was sorry day fucking angers me so much. It wasn't even fucking mentioned on the news.
