thinking about writing a first person story about a system with DID. i’m researching it rn and obviously would continue to do so before i even STARTED that because i don’t want to get details wrong or accidentally write stereotypes or misinformation. if anyone who is a system has any thoughts/ideas/questions/comments/concerns pls lmk because i would love to hear from y’all!

i’m legit crying rn
i told my crushES that i like them
(they are dating EACH OTHER)
and like
i knew nothing was gonna come from it
but i needed to tell them because keeping it would noticeably fuck me up and i wouldn’t be able to move on
and one texted,
“Hey so Person 2 and me mutually are in a relationship with each other and would like to keep it that way. I’m sorry we don’t feel the same way but we can still be friends”
and then Person 2 texts:
“This whole situation makes me really uncomfortable. I’m not mad at you, but I think there need to be boundaries put in place”
and person 1 texts
“I feel the same as person 2”
and i apologized again
but neither of them have responded
and i’m pretty sure i might have just fucked up two of my friendships
and i just wanna erase all of that
i never should’ve said anything i should’ve just kept it in
i wanna go crawl in a hole and die there
(like pls don’t worry about me im just venting)

@nyx_has_lots_of_tryx Don’t blame yourself for that….you were brave to even tell your feelings to them and that’s actually a good thing….As for the part of them being uncomfortable, those 2 should have talked with you directly and talked things out instead ghosting you like that…..It’s not your fault, Nyx <33
