Chapter 22 is now available for Runtime Error. We are getting close to the end of this tale and I hope my readers have been enjoying the tale!

Mister-M137

Also another reason why Ayla is so Angry with Misaka in the past is because Misaka Nearly got her own sister and Shriai killed after killing Mugino and Misaka was to much in her Pycotic break to notice Anti-skill came on the bridge.

Since because of her killing Mugino by sending lightning bolts from the sky? Anti-skill came to her location where this light show was happening and when Imouto threatened them in a stand off with a grenade launcher and one of there sisters aimed at them with a sniper, and these nearly got Imouto shot in the head of it was not for Kuroko coming.

So Pycotic break or not? Did Misaka indirectly nearly got her Sister and kuroko killed since it was because of her firing those lightning bolts from the sky that Anti-skill came in the first place.

Mister-M137

@paulmitting in Ayla mind for why Ayla blames the whole situation on Misaka.

1: She dated Frenda a person Workin for the Darkside and she knows this, and still a member of item still while dating Misaka which led to event's that happened later.
2: Frenda didn't leave item, and did a job that academy city hired Frenda for, which got Misaka involved that she got Kuroko roped up into the mess to take her to Frenda closest location.
3: Misaka had the fastest and best ways to save Frenda, but overcomplicated the matter and wasted them, which got Misaka to see Frenda dead.
            4: Mugino causing Misaka breakdown.
5: Misaka Pycotic breakdown after she killed Mugino got the attention of Anti-skill that aimed weapons at her and her sister.
6: Imouto threatened Anti-skill when Anti-skill tried to arrest them, making Anti-skill panic more when one sister gave a warning shot with a sniper and Imouto told the Anti-skil members she has a granade launcher while wearing armor saying she just wants to take her sister to the hospital for her Pycotic break...but she basically told them she's armed with live ammo making Anti-skill panicked and worried, and if not for Shriai being there Imouto would have had a hole in her head, but led to Kuroko her sister nearly dying to save them.

So? What do you think why Ayla blames Misaka on her mind? Along with that? Ayla also is this since Mugino and Frenda did have a part in it...her response to that being pointed out to her by misaka for Mugino being the cause.

"Yes...But your the only one still alive that I can blame right now that I can take my anger out on."

@Mister-M137 If you start making long-distance connections between events and outcomes, you could claim Misaka's parents being at fault because they gave birth to her. Everyone is accountable for their own actions and responses to events they get embroiled in. Blaming Misaka for the reactions of others to her own actions is hardly fair. If anyone is to blame it was Mugino in the first place for being such a murderous nutjob!

What did you think when Ayla said this to Misaka when Misaka convinced Ayla to call Kuroko to help save Frenda....but Ayla got angry when she heard th situation.
          ----

Ayla's voice cut through the tension like a knife. “WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?”

Misaka stuttered, her panic palpable. “A-Accelerator is stronger than the second strongest Level Five, so—”

Ayla interrupted, her frustration boiling over. “This is not about strength! You texted him that Frenda is at the district she was in and sent him a picture. Tell me, how large are school districts normally, you idiot!”

Misaka's eyes widened as the realization hit her.

Ayla continued, her words sharp and accusatory. “And how is Accelerator going to find her in such a large district? He's powerful, but he'll have to go searching for a while around the damn area to find her! And how do you even know if he was anywhere close to the area? Not to mention, there's a high chance that the second highest Level Five has taken Frenda somewhere else after she sent you that text! To do who knows what to her!”

Misaka felt a wave of panic wash over her at the thought, her heart racing as Ayla's anger intensified.

“Why didn't you call Uiharu fucking first?” Ayla exclaimed, her frustration reaching a boiling point. “She’s good at hacking, using cameras, and even could track Frenda by her phone! She could have potentially pinpointed their location and probably even tracked her, and my sister, getting an accurate location from Uiharu, could have quickly gone in and out to get Frenda and herself to safety with her Level Five teleportation ability!”

Mister-M137

@paulmitting Kuroko tried with Misaka to give her time, and Misaka stalled even if it was subconscious to feel superior.

Kuroko took things slow....but with how Misaka acted, how little emotion she showed around her while so called reconnecting and also the fact that she let Imouto be rude to Shriai....since it said that Imouto was rude to Shriai everyday.

Mister-M137

@paulmitting yeah, also if Kuroko Shriai was aware of Ayla Shriai feelings, Like her sister she would have stepped aside first if she was aware.

Also? What you think of this difference between the sisters when it comes to being over the top? Kuroko Shriai is over the top with her love? But Ayla is over the top with her hate?

Also? Ayla would have preferred the slow method....but how Misaka slow method hurt her sister? And the fact while reconnecting Misaka let Imouto be rude to her everyday, Ayla was only tolerant to Misaka till Kuroko left.

@Mister-M137 Their relationship is a real love/hate think I reckon. Given a different set of circumstances I think it possible the two of them would have become a couple. Ayla wouldn't allow Mikoto's fear of intimacy overwhelm her, avoiding the blunt predatory approach that Kuroko used and trying for a slower relationship that built over time.

Mister-M137

Also? While Ayla is hurt by what Misaka did to her sister.

Her anger for Misaka actions, and also fear for her sister well-being is sorta added to her frustration.

She's frustrated a lot that Misaka made the same mistakes again, And that's one of the reasons she was a lot pissed with Misaka because she made mistakes not just with Shriai but also with frenda when there was a easy way to save her and not have to much of a disaster happened.

paulmitting

@Mister-M137 Yeah, this version of Mikoto is damned annoying!

Also what did you think of this part in the story? When Ayla said this.
          ----

How do you think I felt?” Ayla began, her voice rising. “When someone I looked up to threatened my sister so coldly like that had someone threaten her like that?”

Mikoto looked down….she really hates that she was reminded of that, she has so much regrets on her actions there.

But Ayla continues. “… Ugh! It was the most hateful, angriest feeling I’ve ever experienced towards anyone. To feel that way about someone I used to admired and respected, and to even fear you hurting my again sister…like you Did many times if You and my sister do get back togather and that’s a if you have done nothing to show I can even trust you, feel safe with my sister around you ..what the fuck can I trust you with by this point!? Nothing….” Ayla clenched her fists, her eyes flashing with emotion. “And now….” She says grinding her teeth

Her tone shifted, becoming calmer but still laced with anger. “You really know how to send a message in the shittiest, fucking way possible. The worst part is that you still make me feel like a bad person for feeling this way towards you now.” The hurt was palpable in her voice, a mix of betrayal and sadness, as she looked into Misaka eyes

Mister-M137

@paulmitting yeah, also while Ayla takes extreme pleasure in hurting Misaka emotionally, Calling her out on her mistakes reminding Misaka how much she failed overall.

It....makes her so Angry, So annoyed and so pissed, That Misaka basically lets her do this to her, and it's not because she gets no satisfaction out of it, She gets a lot of satisfaction in fact, yet she still gets pissed off and more angry that Misaka lets her do that to her, for basically a year and a half, Misaka let Ayla do what she wanted to her, yet? While getting satisfaction it still makes Ayla so angry that Misaka lets her do this to her, she does not care that she does not get a challenge out of it, she just hates that Misaka let her do this for so long.

So what does that say about Ayla? While she did take great satisfaction on causing Misaka to suffer for over a year adding more to her misery, she got more angry that Misaka let her do this to her.
