@Mister-M137 They are more alike than different. I think they both care about people but can only show it in rare moments, except with Mikoto. I think major difference is that Kuroko chose to run and hide from her problem with Mikoto while Ayla faced it head on.

@Mister-M137 I know Ayla has a lot of reasons to feel hurt and angry towards Misaka, but healing requires acceptance and forgiveness. Until she can reach that point, any interaction with Misaka is going to painful for both of them.
            As for Imouto, she is inherently naive as are all the Sisters - they are terribly blunt and don't understand why they can't act the way they do. She is learning but it is an ongoing issue for them all. At least Ayla is showing her the Sisters need to adapt their behaviours to fit in better with the rest of humanity and its rules.
            For 3, Ayla is being hard and direct as always. She is telling her truth as she sees it, laying down the law for Misaka. She could be harder on her and make her face the real consequences of her actions, so in that respect she does show some compassion at least.

            Misaka leaned against the edge of the room, her voice barely above a whisper, laced with an undercurrent of sadness. “You really don’t want to be here with me face to face, do you?” Her eyes,  searched Ayla’s for any hint of understanding or empathy. However, Ayla remained steadfastly focused on the report sprawled out before her, the glow of the screen illuminating her stern features, casting shadows that deepened the lines of her concentration.
            
            “Nope,” Ayla replied, her tone curt and unyielding. The word hung in the air, flat and dismissive, devoid of any warmth. It was a stark contrast to the vulnerability Misaka had just laid bare.
            
            With a heavy sigh, Misaka felt the weight of the silence wrap around them, oppressive and stifling. “Then why not just do a video call? Or you could use my contact information to handle our meetings that way. It might make things easier for both of us,” she suggested, her voice tinged with a mix of hope and resignation.
            
            Ayla paused, her fingers stilling on the keyboard for a brief moment as she considered the proposition. She glanced up, her expression inscrutable, a mask of professionalism that concealed any flicker of emotion. “As tempting as that idea might be,” she replied, the hint of a smirk ghosting her lips before it faded away, “I’m not going to let you off that easily. You really don’t deserve any leniency.” There was a steeliness to her voice, a reminder that her role was not just to facilitate but to enforce the boundaries set by authority.
            
            “Furthermore,” Ayla continued, her gaze piercing, “Anti-Skill and Judgment have mandated that I keep a close eye on you during our meetings. They suspect you could easily manipulate footage involving your twin sister, using it to create distractions while you plot something under my nose. They want me here, in person, to ensure that both of you are present and accounted for.”

@paulmitting and Plus? Ayla is more lenient then most parole officers would be even if she is appear to be cold and aggressive to Misaka in there talks.
            
            After all? Reason or not or mental breakdown? Misaka did kill Mugino, and also Imouto did threatened Anti-skill officers with a sniper with armor pericing rounds and a grenade launcher.
            
            Anyone assigned to be Misaka parole officer if they found out Misaka killed someone? And also her sister Imouto did that.
            
            Be honest would they have been less lenient with her and probably for safety reasons have Misaka and Imouto separated?
            
            Also? Does this add tragedy to Ayla as well? Since Aiho is the one who told Her the consiqances if she does not be Misaka parole officer, since it was that or Misaka goes to prison and what Kuroko Shriai tried to do for Misaka when she risked her life would be for nothing and they be consiqances in the medical department and if Misaka was sent to prison or whatever the Darkside or some twisted scientist could easily have access to Misaka and Imouto to do experiments on them.
            
            Making Ayla accapt being Misaka parole officer....since Ayla really couldn't live with herself if she let that happen if she knew.
            
            Shame for Ayla....this costed her when Kuroko Shriai left (Kuroko didn't know about the parole and Ayla didn't tell her.) with one of Misaka sisters, and Kuroko had her phone off...., because Misaka dragged her feat on reconnecting.
            
            So becoming Misaka parole....she may never see her sister again.

@Mister-M137 I guess it is true she has been tasked with monitoring Misaka rather than choosing to follow her activities as a stalker! Since Ayla knows Misaka well she is likely to be more fair in her dealings than perhaps a biased or indifferent Parole officer.

@Mister-M137 Just read the chapter. Interesting idea - I doubt it could work in reality but as story telling concept it is very cool. Making someone responsible for the rehabilitation of the very person they hate the most! Or do they really hate Misaka? I've said before that I think Ayla has feelings of her own for Misaka, suppressed because her twin sister loves the Railgun so passionately.

Also if you saw the chapter? Ayla is Misaka parole officer, while outside it's different but in acadamy city? Well let's just say ImIf Ayla was heartless......she have a very hell of a lot of restrictions on Misaka.....

@Mister-M137 Had a read tonight and found it interesting. However I did note that the spelling and grammar in this chapter really needed some cleaning up. Good work overall!
