I updated Musings!! I'm so stinking excited about the new projects that I have in the works, but especially my experiences as the bio kid of foster parents. The system is so broken...and I hope to share what I've been through, in order to help others like me feel like they're allowed to share their stories. Mine was full of trauma. It's not something I want to go through again. Not something I'd want to put my son through. The Foster system in the US is an absolute dumpster fire. Stick around to find out more about that book!

As a woman with late diagnosis of ADHD, thank you to my therapist Dr. Nichole for figuring that one out, I've noticed that a lot of things from when I was a kid are making so much more sense now that I've been able to research and understand more about my own mind. My sister was diagnosed in 3rd grade, but they never thought to check me. It makes more sense as to why sometimes it's hard for me to stick with things like my writing, or my "hobbies." These things get "boring" and "repetitive," so I have to take a break and then come back to them. I'm learning new things every day, including new things in parenting...oh the adventures of having a 3 year old. That's a whole other story...

Posted another journal, and honestly, my thoughts have been all over the map. Squish got attacked by a rooster this past Wednesday...of course, he also torments said rooster mercilessly when the thing is in the run, so naturally the thing is going to pounce as soon as he's let out of the pen. After that, he's developed a could and fevers, so it's been an up and down battle with those. Rural life doesn't get any more "rural" than that...

I thought life changes were wild back in November...everything has changed now! We're buying a house, Squish's bio dad passed away. My parents are moving to another city, so we're working on packing them up and setting the house up since Squish and I are staying behind. We're preparing for a fun summer of adventures and play with friends.

I've been updating journals, but especially the one for Squish, entitled Little Love. So far it's been a fantastic way to process everything in the last couple of years. Hopefully you enjoy reading them as much as I've enjoyed writing them!

It's been over a year since I've written any journals...Holy moly. So much has happened, so many things have changed. My perspective, my opinions, my life path. And it's been so welcome. Little Love and I are slowly finding ourselves in the position of thriving, instead of just surviving. I've been working on a new book in my google docs, but it's not really going anywhere.

Hello Patricia!

Sorry, I don't want to intrude, but I noticed you being a follower and reader of fantasy and romance authors. Maybe you’d like to give the supernatural fantasy-romance ‘Regent’s Blood’ by M.J. Stephanos a chance as well. I’m a fan of her book and I think she deserves more readers and followers.

          Best Regards rogerthatmuse
