I'm Leanne. The first story I ever wrote was when I was six, and although I've come a long way from a story about a mermaid who found a treasure chest with a key taped to it, I've never lost that love and passion for storytelling. The stories I write are inspired by the lives of the real people around me, which means I have nearly limitless inspiration. I have a BA in English Lit with a minor in Creative Writing, and the only real answer I could ever give when asked what I wanted to do when I grew up was write books. This isn't the first book I've written, but it is definitely one that I think is worth sharing with the world, and I hope you'll agree.

When I'm not writing, I'm chasing after a very active toddler or out in my rose garden, which was heavily inspired by the Secret Garden.
