lore drop: there is a VERY popular book series that has 2 characters based off my dad and his coworker. it’s not just speculation either, like the author confirmed it. one is a vampire (based on my dad) and the other is a werewolf (based on his coworker). also, funnily enough, the character based on my dad (who is homophobic) CANONICALLY SCREWS DUDES. i would read the series, and there is a lot of praise around it, but i can’t bring myself to. there’s like SO much r-a-pe as well as a lot of poor writing and f-e-tishizing of queer people. as well as racist stereotypes. all around icky
