          The Virat Kohli fan in me is celebrating, but the GT and Shubman fan in me is absolutely heartbroken.
          
          So close, yet so far.
          
          What a season it has been. The 700+ run partnership between Shubman and Sai was pure magic. Miyan and KG delivered when it mattered, Holdy and Jos brought their experience and class, and every player contributed to a campaign filled with highs, lows, comebacks, and unforgettable moments.
          
          The trophy may have slipped away this time, but Shubman Gill made us proud every single day — as a captain, a teammate, and a player. Watching him lead this young group with maturity, responsibility, and belief has been one of the biggest positives of the season.
          
          Some seasons end with silverware. Some seasons build the foundation for something bigger.
          
          Tough luck, GT. Thank you for the memories, the emotions, and the fight.
          
          Well done, Class of '26. 
          
          And as for that trophy?
          
          I still believe we'll lift it again under Shubman Gill's captaincy. Until then, we'll keep showing up, keep believing, and keep saying — Aava De.

          Every new chapter I write feels like it's not up to the mark, so I end up scrapping it and starting over again. That's honestly the main reason I haven't been updating.
          
          Writer's block sucks, and perfectionism isn't helping either.
