i bet if we go back in time to the good old days, where the mother sang, we would be panicking at the disco, then as we get married to our loved ones, we would be the brides that wear black veils.
if the veils don't stay on our heads, we can always pierce them. then if someone bursts in saying haven't you ever heard of closing the goddamn door, we'll say no because it's much easier to face these kinds of things.
