Saleem Ayyanath was born on 2nd June 1975 in Malappuram District. He is the son of Mr. Ayyanath Moideenkutty and Muthiyeri Ummachukkutty. Saleem Ayyanath graduated from Pocker Sahib memorial orphanage college and completed his Masters in Library science from Mahatma Gandhi University and Annamali University. Bachelor of Education in St.Joseph's Training college, Mannanam, Kottayam. He is currently working at Delhi Private School as a senior Librarian, in Dubai.He has published three books namely Nilavilekku Thuranna Norakannukal (Poems), Thunnal Pakshiyude Veedu (Stories) and Deborah(  Stories)
