Like Sandman, Lucien does not speak, or does so so rarely it’s considered legend. He communicates through expressions, body language, and living dream sand, shaping glowing images, playful symbols, and small animated scenes to express thoughts and emotions.
Lucien is calm, patient, and peaceful, moving through the Dream Realm with quiet confidence. His presence is soothing, steady, and gentle—never forceful. Even in tense moments, he radiates reassurance, like being tucked in before sleep.
At the same time, Lucien is openly emotional. He feels everything deeply—joy, sadness, fear, excitement—and those feelings spill directly into his dream sand. His vivid imagination makes his constructs colorful, expressive, and sometimes surprisingly dramatic. Because emotions come so easily to him, he works hard to stay balanced and intentionally chooses optimism.
Beneath that calm exterior, Lucien is also childish and delightfully silly.
He delights in harmless pranks, exaggerated expressions, and playful dream imagery—tiny animals made of sand, floating doodles, or silly faces that pop up mid-conversation. He’ll tease gently through dream sand cartoons, act mock-offended when corrected, or dramatically flop into the air when bored. His humor is soft and innocent, meant to lighten moods rather than embarrass.
This silliness isn’t immaturity—it’s joy. Lucien believes laughter belongs in dreams just as much as peace does. Even when burdened by heavy emotions, he finds comfort in play, using it to remind himself and others that hope can still be fun.
