If you are looking for high fantasy, a hard magic system, strong leads, a suspenseful plot, and romance lines that begin as a love square but develop into a slow burn, you are in luck. I will not claim that it is excellent and without flaw. Such opinions are yours to make. I only believe you will not regret giving it a try.
