hi love, i just got back on wattpad and do you know what happened to mae?

hey guys! i just wanted to say a couple things  about mae. I did read all of her books and it was wrong of me to read about the sexualization of underaged minors. I could never ever write smut, and it was very inappropriate for me to read stories like those. sexualization and smut writing is wrong and should not be normalized against young kids, especially on an app like this. my book a24 does not contain any sort of smut at all, but i will be re-editing the book and changing up the storyline. i would like to call myself out on reading stories like this and hold myself accountable for thinking it was okay. it is not okay in any way shape or form fan fiction or not. im trying to educate myself each day. i could never be comfortable with writing smut. again, please do not normalize stuff like this. i will hold myself accountable for thinking it was okay when it wasn’t and i am truly sorry for offending anybody. if i made anyone uncomfortable i am truly sorry. I am not asking for anyone’s forgiveness, but truly just to hold myself accountable for the mistakes I have made.
