I write  what I hope are realistic stories about ordinary people.  As a historian,  accuracy is important to me.  My stories have a strong sense of place, often an exotic setting.     

I write sketches of people, places, and events.  I'm not sure my stories have a plot or a message or a moral.  I just write what interests me.     

Personally, I am of a certain age, well-traveled, well-worn, somewhat conventional, but perhaps a romantic at heart.
