hey! i just finished setting up my writing discord server and we're already at 40+ members. it's centered around wlw writers/ readers and Igbqt creatives, but it's not exclusive at all and allies are welcome too.
          
          we do movie nights, writing sprints, we've got spaces for sharing your work, getting feedback, gaming, and just hanging out. we've got mods now and it's honestly a really welcoming vibe. but... we do need more people who are active and would love to talk to other wattpad writers or readers to help make it a loving community etc.!

          While still on my tooting-my-own-horn bandwagon for Ivy Castle, you will most likely be seeing edits being made to my novella. Never fear, these edits will be minimal and likely only to fix anything that doesn't feel right like the flow, tense fixes, all that wonderful jazz. Why, you may ask? Well, I've decided I'm going to join the 2025 Amby's this year with it! Very excited!

Y'all, Ivy Castle Wishes for a Princess is at 300 reads!!! It's been a year since its release, but it really is my pride and joy that I do plan on expanding once my life feels it's at it's rightful spot to truly channel all of my creativity and passion into it.
          
          Besides that, Ivy and Bella are on Wattpad's OFFICIAL Pride Month GxG Reading List! EEEEEK! How did I get here????? Impostor syndrome through the ROOF!
          
          Thank you to all who have read, voted, commented, and supported Ivy's journey and my writing since its release for ONC 2024. It wouldn’t have made it to 300 reads, or the GxG Reading List if it weren't for the immense amount of support! This has really made my day.

I've officially submitted The Fifth Life to the final round of ONC 2025! A wild ride, with a pretty meh piece of work in my honest opinion (I'm pleasantly surprised it made it this far), but I'm very happy I participated, nonetheless!
          
          We'll see if I want to stress myself out next year and impulsively join on the last day, but that's a future Cara problem.
          
          Congrats in advance to our future winners, and I hope you all do this journey again next year!

Woohoo! Chapter 3 in the books. This ONC is definitely going to need some editing after all this is said and done, but I'm quite happy with how it's going for a spur of the moment kind of thing.
          
          Unfortunately, I'm going to have to really haul into it, as my math is suggesting 2-3 chapters a week if I want to finish this the way I want. Well, that's what I get for ambition!

          I know my account has been dead this past year, but I just wanted to announce that I am participating in ONC 2025 after such a successful year with Ivy Castle Wishes for a Princess back in the start of 2024!
          
          My new work is called The Fifth Life, an adventurous novella about a group of strangers, none of which remember who they are or what they're doing, living five different lives in five different thrilling worlds.
          
          I've just published the second chapter, and I can't wait to get this ball properly rolling!
          
          I hope all goes well for you guys with this upcoming announcement of who will pass round one. If it doesn't go as well as you hoped, I truly wish you keep going with your book(s).
          
          A special thank you to all those who have already read the prologue and chapter one, as well as adding it to their lists!

The longlist is as far as ICWFAP made, but holllllllllly!!! I really wasn't expecting to get that far in my FIRST YEAR, and thank you to everyone who has supported me, and each other throughout this quite stressful time! Congrats to all the shortlisters, and soon enough, the winners!!!
