Now onto Oz, I was hesitant. Well every good- no best book I came to know, I guess, made me hesitant to read them... at least once or twice? Lol. And this one is not an exception. I was hesitant because it's written in a Male POV, and it's my first time reading a romance novel told by the male lead. I wasn't sure if I could finish this book, but just 3 chapters from Oz's point of view made me wnat to read more, how someone as tough and dark as him could tell a story. I grew curious, I want to know how he see things in his perspective. But actually one of the best thing about his POV in the whole book, is how he described Halo. How he told us wonders about how a ray of sunshine she is and he didn't fail. I realized I love Halo through Oz's words. It felt like I know Halo too as much as Oz knows her. The crew, everything about them is just wonderful. Their differences from Kurt to Frisco did not broke the bond they created. This was a wonderful journey, tbh. I'm glad I read this book. Yes, some chapters were heavy because, this is Oz after all. It showed me the reality that somewhere around the world, shit like these happen to people, and this is how they respond to the situation. Violence, revenge, everything dark and gory. But I can't ignore the fact that there is growth in here. In each one of them, not just Oz and Halo. But also to Scout, The crew, Snow- except that pumpkinhead!
