So sorry again for another baby hiatus when it comes to writing! My 2025 so far has been absolutely insane - car accident (I’m fine), thievery (returned), and SWAMPED are a few words to sum it up so far. REALLY hoping I can get another chapter out of “Dawn Shadows” within the next week or two! And maybe even another YouTube video too… ;)

Ooooo I would love to give you some tips! To sum it up, when writing Warrior Cats fanfiction, planning is KEY. I usually start by outlining plot points I’m excited about and organizing them to ensure they make sense and would excite readers. Take into account what readers enjoy, like unique character arcs, while balancing it with your own creative and really cool ideas. INVEST in your story—your excitement will translate to the audience—and avoid clichés or overused tropes like relying on character deaths for conflict unless they’re impactful. Build compelling characters with flaws that drive conflict and growth, because as tempting as it is to make perfect characters, perfect characters can make a story dull. Keep the narrative engaging with conflict, cliffhangers, and moments that leave readers wanting more. But ultimately, have FUN with the process!! <3
