First off, I wanted to say Happy Pride Month to all. We're in a tough spot right now, but we're all trying to stick together, and that's what matters. Keep it up.
But remember, Pride isn't a parade, it's a protest. It first started off with the black woman, the Drag Queen Marsha P Johnson in 1969 who started the Stonewall riots. Her and many others fought for trans women of color and police brutality.
This year, we're celebrating pride by fighting against police brutality once more. If you haven't heard what happened May 25th of this year, type in the name George Floyd on your search engine to gain research of what happened. We won't fall. We'll keep fighting for others like him. Who died because of the color of their skin by the authority we should be able to trust.
Stay educated, donate, and protest.
