I recoiled. My mind was racing. How had we come to this? I thought we were getting fine. I thought the situation was getting fine. Nahanap ko na siya, eh. I finally found my father. Ang ama ko! Pero bakit 'yon ang sasabihin niya pagkatapos ng lahat-lahat?
Mas tatanggapin ko pa kung magsinungaling siya at pilit na itago 'yon. Why would he say that as if it was just a simple revelation?
I thought reuniting with him was a stepping stone to knowing who I was. Theoretically, I did. But this?
This is way beyond what I anticipated , and I don’t know if I’ll ever have to expect anymore.
