1.)I hope this message finds you one day, perhaps just at the right time. I finished your book ‘timeless’ today and I felt the need to tell you about my experience readying it.
I started reading this book on Wednesday evening the 22nd of October and I did not want to put it down - I read until late at night. The next day, when I had to go on about my daily routine I could not stop thinking about the book and Elle and Edmund and I was eager to get back to it. I thought about it while doing chores, running errands, being at work. About what happened, how Elle’s story might continue and all possibilities that came with that. On days I did not find the time to read (which luckily only happed on Thursday and Saturday) my mind was still occupied with the story and I made sure to plan at least an hour on the next day for me to read. I just had to get back into it.
Elenore is such a great character, which is so rare for a main character ( at least in my opinion, I tend to be more interested in supporting characters). When reading a story I need to be able to form a connection to the main character. I need them to take me into the book, make me a part of the story in the most unique and imperfect ways possible and with your main character that came so easily. You could feel everything she felt, every smile, every heartbreak and every single emotion. She wasn’t boring, not even for a second - like a lot of other main character. But she wasn’t perfect, far from it actually. She had flaws that made her even better, that made her human.
