Future book leak:
A book about a dude who wakes up, the world is nothing but desert, he has no memories. Begins walking around, finds mutants, fights them. He ends up finding an outpost, almost like a town. Each of the mutants have superpowers, ends up finding out that his is he can control lightning through a guitar. The mayor, our main antagonist, can mind control people, he believes that he can control this new world. But, the main character is immune, for some reason, and that pisses mayor guy off, and he tries to kill him. He has to find allies to defeat the mayor. Far away, another main character is trying to defend their city from constant mutant attacks.
