Why me?

Cisco's POV (little boy): aaaaaaaaah! I heard my teacher scream and run in the class room "everyone stay calm and block the door with the chairs and tables" we did as she said but I heard screaming in the halls then the fire alarm went on how are we suppose to stay calm if all that's happening my friend Amanda came up to me "I'm scared what's happening" she asked " I don't know" I answered banging on the door shook the room in fear I told her to hide and that it's all gonna be okay what else was I suppose to say we're best friends I hid in the closet and i can see Amanda hide in the corner with a chair over her the teacher grabbed a ruler and stood a few feet away from the door. "Everyone hide" he yelled my other friend jack tried to enter the closet but I pushed him even though there was room for the both of us and said "sorry" then the door broke open with the zombies entering. the teacher didn't stand a chance neither did my friend jack I felt so bad as he was getting eaten alive I cried than he screamed "why Brandon" which made me feel worse. I looked to see the room covered in blood with all my classmates dead except Amanda there were no zombies left so I opened the closet to check up on Amanda she had a bite on her arm "it hurts" Amanda said "what do we do" she added I held her hand "we run" I answered we peek the the door to see that it was clear we ran through the hall silently and exited the school as we exited a body fell from the sky we both gasped in fear we look up to see the principle say his prayers then jumped tears ran through our eyes as we couldn't bare to see this we were so young we thought 'why us..... Why now' we saw a horde of zombies turn of the sound of the fallen bodies next to us and started to approach us the noise gave us a great fear and motivation to live as we ran we saw a bus hit the horde but not to soon the horde flipped the bus an de start to hear the scream of our friends we don't know how to defend ourselves were just kids so all we new was to run so we ran to a house were we locked the doors and sat down I went to the fridge to see if there was a drink but as soon as I turned around I saw Amanda on the floor 'the bite' i thought to myself 'what will happen next' I questioned myself I saw her got up I new this wasn't good I went upstairs and locked myself in a room she than started banging on the door 'what am I gonna do' I thought do I just leave her I saw a window and jumped out than saw a man leave a house that had a flag on it he didn't look like one of them I than looked back and thought of Amanda "sorry" I said then followed him to a store I spent the night at a house right across from the store and locked myself in the top room which had a window so I can see who else was in the store it was another man I prayed that soon I will have someone to protect me but I can't risk my life to depend on myself I was just an eight year old I soon cried myself to sleep hoping it was just a dream.
