Suprise!

Tyler POV: I woke up to cut some wood I didn't bother to check up on Trevor or the girl so I grabbed my crossbow and the bag full of arrows and I left outside to cut some wood I checked on my watch it said 7:45 pm so as I exit the house I saw target plats that showed a picture of some zombie and that's it but there were lots of them "this is so great" I said to myself Trevor must of put this up for target practice we had a huge yard front and back it was unexplainable so I put Down the crossbow and the bag of stakes then I took off my shirt and started to cut wood that was my job around here cut cut cut that also kept me in shape so is didn't bother as I cut the wood someone tackled me I fell thinking it was Trevor as I looked it was a girl I kicked her off and grabbed the crossbow and pointed at her ready to shoot if I needed to I'm not gonna lie the sun wasn't the only one hot out here but if it was life or death and I know I'm not gonna die by some crazy bitch for all I known she killed Trevor my eyes were just focused on her lucky the axe was near me and she had no weapon so I had the leverage but yet again I don't know who is she for all I know she could be war veteran well it doesn't matter I have the upper hand.

Jennifer POV: I woke up to wood being chopped 'where am I' I a said to myself I looked around and noticed my stuff was gone I exited the room to see two hallways one two my left and one two my right I exited to the left and saw the door outside this house had a huge front yard and a nice defense gate "smart" I whispered I heard the sound coming from the back of the house so I went around and saw a guy without his shirt I saw the sweat coming from his dark black hair but his face....... I recognized it he's not the guy who grabbed me earlier so I better be careful I approached silently and then I tackled him and got a visual on his face he all I knew so far is that he was light skin and had hazel eyes he than kicked me off with anger on his face I got up quickly and saw him pointing a crossbow at me it looks like the one that took the care package well a piece of it I'm not gonna lie he had a nice body but I didn't care all I knew is I had to survive if only I had a weapon so he had the upper hand and if I charged at him I'm dead so I wondered what to do my life was on the line.

Trevor POV: c'mon......I so had this fight but I didn't want to win unfairly I said to myself so I slowly dropped the crossbow away from me and threw the axe away as well. she looked at me in confusion of why I put my weapons away I knew she asked that so I said "I don't wanna win by cheating" "you think this is a game.... you're insane" she replied "just a competition on who's stronger" I said "I have military experience" she said in a cocky voice "well how long have you been here" I questioned "just a day" she replied "see that's were you're wrong I've been here for two months now that is said I have the most experience" the zombies growling sounded like chanting around us as we were gonna fight even though there wasn't a lot of zombies they sound scary let alone. she than charged at me scrunching her right arm I leaned the opposite way and grabbed her left arm and pulled it she flipped and screamed when she hit the floor I got scared so aided for assistance "are you alright" I asked as I checked her she then punched me in the face "never leave you're guard down" she said "so the girl talks" I said and was about to laugh when she kneed me in the stomach after that I tried to gasp for air she then waited for me to catch my breath "ready" she said "always" I replied I slowly paced to her than I tackled her to the floor and it was just punch and kicks there left and right I knew I was getting bruised for a girl she hits hard I than was able to pin her but she got out of it like if it was nothing then when while we were rolling on the floor I heard Trevor said "are you guys hungry for breakfast" we both stopped and looked at each other "are you down to eat" I asked "thanks" she replied "so did you have you're fun" she said while getting off of me "yeah I had some fun" I answered "well are you down with round two" she asked "you're not tired" I asked "I was trained to be in a fight that lasts hours" she said as she walked away I put on a shirt and grabbed the crossbow and arrows. I than took my time to take a shower and got ready to eat let's see what we have here as our new guest so we all sat on the table and all of us just sat and stared to see who will talk first then "so what's your name" asked Trevor "Jennifer" she answered "pleasure to meet you I'm Trevor and I've seen you met my brother Tyler" as he said then I waved "what specific military branch are you" I asked eating a piece of chicken "well we say military cause that's what we're trained under what we really are is the virus outbreak response squad or for shorter terms were called V.O.R.S we respond to any dangerous virus and when we analyze and set back to base we are required to say if it needs to be condemned or contaminated" she answered "so either kill or let it go" I said in fear yes see if there's any survivors left after we decide would be evacuated than bombed if we wait it out we have surveillance to see if it's over any survivor would go through testing if passed they shall exit if not they are shot on site were just lucky the only way out of here is a bridge so the V.O.R.S checkpoint is at the end of the bridge" she answered with no hesitation Trevor gave her a radio "can this contact them" he asked "yes" she asked he gave it to her "tell them to wait out the virus but in the mean time drop care packages so we can capture them" he added she than nodded her head and excused herself from the table and went outside "what now do we trust her" I asked "yes" he replied "and we are gonna need some training so go practice on those targets I put up for you" he added I nodded and left as I exited I heard Jennifer tell the V.O.R.S exactly what I wanted to here I than just took some time to shoot the crossbow at the targets "hey" Jennifer said "what's up" I asked were you guys there when you raided a care drop" she asked "yes and I'm sorry" I answered "I understand it's hell down here I've seen it with my own eyes I forgive you guys" "thanks..... so did anyone come with you" I asked "yeah actually three guys came with me but they all died terribly" she said sadly "I'm sorry for you're loss" I said "so was this yours and Trevor's old home" she asked "we just took camp here" I answered I checked my watch and it was barely one o'clock well here practice with the wrench that's the only stuff we have so you don't alarm the zombies" I said "well where's my stuff" she questioned ask Trevor he probably has it" I said than she left I took off my shirt since it was boiling out here it was almost June 24th my birthday today is April 20th well you can say I was overly excited but didn't matter "damn cutting wood sucks" I said to myself "why do I get this job" I asked myself "who are you talking too" a voice that sounded like Jennifer said I turned to see her long dark hair and brown eyes she was wearing her Equipment "yeah sorry I do that" I said "well can I give you a tip why it's hard" she said "what"? I asked "you need more upper body strength so at night I want you to work out after you eat and after cutting a few prices of wood for about forty minutes" she answered I stared at he like if she was crazy "yeah right" I said sarcastically "you will do it I demand you" she said with a seriousness tone I dropped the axe "oh yeah or what" I replied acting like a bad ass "round two" she said I looked in confusion till I remembered about the round two but to late she kicked me on the face and I was out cold. I woke up four hours later to see I was in a room as about when I was gonna get up Jennifer walks in "hey your awake" "yeah um how long was I out" I asked "just a few hours" she responded "oh okay not so bad but just to say that is a killer kick move you got there can you teach me" I asked "I'll see but first you need some rest" she said "well were is Trevor" I questioned "I think he went to get some antibiotics" she said "well I'm going to take a shower" I said as I got up "oh well I put some clothes for you on you're bed" she said I nodded my head and told her thanks that's really nice of her as I was taking a shower I was thinking about her what if this was her plan, to gain our trust and kill us. well I'll have to see first as. I finished taking a shower and I put the towel around my lower body since the clothes were in my room so as I opened the door a mist came out of the bathroom I came out as the mist cleared out I Walked down the hall to see Jennifer giving me a strange look than I went to my room and saw what was in my bed it looked like military pants and a tank top it put them on and looked at the mirror to investigate my face where she had hit me I saw a little bruising on my cheek bone but that's it. I heard the door open "guys I'm home" I'm guessing Trevor as I went I see that he got antibiotics I grabbed them and got a bottle of water and took two down Jennifer came "well you guys are twinning" Trevor said "oh well he just freshened up" Jennifer said as I looked at her we were wearing the some thing "dude she fucked you up" Trevor said historically "well he did put up a fight" she said "okay well I'll prepare dinner than we can sleep" Trevor said "great" Jennifer said as I waited for food to be ready I hear Trevor "IT'S READY" he yelled as I went I saw Jennifer already sitting down as we waited for the food to get on the table Jennifer wanted to make a toast "to new friends" she said we all raised our glass of whine as we than prayed for the food and our survival we ate and talked we learned that Jennifer's favorite color is blue and where she came from little by little we learned of her it was good to have new blood in this house we than finished and went off to sleep.
