The Last Dayz

A New friend

Tyler's POV: as my eyes open staring at a ceiling I looked to my left and I saw the girl I moved her dark brown hair over her ears to see her eyes. I got up and walked outside I grabbed the radio and clipped it to my pants and grabbed the chest strap with three arrows and went outside I took off my shirt and put the strap on over my body and placed the stakes in the holders and grabbed a bottle of water as I exited the house and went to shoot some arrows before I cut some wood I noticed I really didn't need practice I'm pretty on point so I started cutting the wood it's been thirty minutes into cutting the wood so I pored myself with some water than kept on cutting. "what are you doing" said a girl behind me I turned to see the nurse "my job" I said "how about I put on a shirt and we can talk inside" I added "over some beers" she said with a smile "how about scotch" I said than I hit the tree with the axe till it was stuck I turned than smiled we than walked into the house than I put on a shirt and got two glasses she went to change so I was alone thinking what to say when she comes back as she entered the room she sat down "so what do you wanna know" I asked "um... how about the basics" she asked "well I got a personal rule here...... survive" "when are you're friends coming" she asked "I don't really care" I said than I winked and she nearly choked on the drink on
Laughter "so last night I really didn't catch your name" I asked "Miranda and what's yours" she replied "Tyler and um since you're new we should do basic training" "yeah that works" she said than nodded she actually carries about six knives but never really trained with them I showed her the targets after that she threw the knives I had to help her a bit so after a few of practice throwing she said "I'm ready" "what are you talking about" I asked she than tackled me to the floor and started hitting me I hit her off and when I got up she was gonna kick me lucky I caught it "nice" she said I drooped her foot and kicked her on the gut a little soft but not to hard she grabbed a knife from the back of her boot she tried swinging at me but than I grabbed her arm than she kicked me back about a good six feet than threw the knife "agh!" I screamed "what da fuck was that...... that was a cheap shot" I said "sorry" she came up to me "it was reflex" she added than I said "no...... flinching is a reflex, that was intentional" "yeah..... it was intentional" she said "stay here I'm gonna get my medical kit" she added she ran and came back she than pulled the knife out "ahhhh" I yelled she than bandaged it up and took me inside on the couch "just rest" she said I wasn't able to sleep but than the radio went on "hey you there" a voice that sounded liked Trevor "yeah what's up" I asked "um were not gonna be back for a while" "what you mean" I asked "um we got backed up but before we killed them all they called back up so yeah but they might bring more" "and why can't you come back" I asked "because we don't know what part of the city were in" he answered "but we will be back soon give it two weeks tops okay" "um sure well good luck" I said "you too" he replied than hanged up I thought wait a sec don't these only go up to two miles "Miranda!" I Yelled she came in a hurry "what's wrong" she said "my brother just said they are lost but these radios are a two mile radius frequency why did he lie" I asked "well he probably didn't he can use a transmitter to make a longer signal" she answered "yeah he won't lie to me" I said "get some rest" she said before leaving I than took a nap

-I woke up later figuring out I was in a coma for five days that wasn't the only thing instead of the couch I was in a room and not my right when I got up the door opens "your awake!" She said holding up tea I laid back down but scooted up so half my body was up to drink the tea "thanks" I said "I was so scared you were out for five days" she said "five days" I yelled putting away the tea "did Trevor and Jennifer call back" I asked in fear "yeah they called everyday to check up on us" she answered me "just don't worry" she replied just as I was about to get up I felt weird I looked under the blankets and I was naked "um..... what da fuck happened to my close" I said "I had to wash and clean you and your close" "don't worry I didn't peak I removed your close blind folded and washed you as well blind folded and didn't wash you in you parts so you're gonna have to take a shower today since it was two days ago" she added "um.. okay do you have a towel" she handed me a towel and put it behind me when I got up I covered my waist down and wrapped it around my waist "I'm gonna get you're clothes ready go ahead take a shower" she said "thanks" I replied as I was in the shower I heard "you're close are in you're room when you're done" Miranda told me "thanks again" I replied I than got out with a towel on my waste to see the clothes she gave me it was blue pants and pink shirt I thought really where did she get this I asked myself and put it on it felt pretty silky it was kinda nice. "Hey when you're ready I have a surprise for you outside" Miranda said as I walked through the hallway and open the door to the outside she was standing outside with a blind fold on her hand "put this on" she demanded as I put it on "why" I asked "its a surprise" she said as we walked al the way to what I think is the back of the house she tells me to take it off as I do I saw a parkour training ground and a shed ooooh man I was so happy I turned to give her a hug "thanks" I said she than blushed "no problem" now I know I could trust her even more...... as than the week went by quick and we had one more week with-ought Trevor and Jennifer and I'm starting to like Miranda like.... love her but I can't tell her so I left it alone so we decided to just go on with the day but practicing on her combat skills so it was a pretty good first week.
