Doah : making memories

Baby

Noah: we arrived at our destination and Dixie told me that I could take off my blindfold.

Dixie: okay I'm just gonna grab some stuff to set up.

Noah: okay but be quick!

Dixie: will do!

Noah: I sat in the car and thought about Dixie and everything she does for me- I was so in love.

Dixie: okay Noah you can come out now.

Noah: I held Dixies hand as she lead me down to the beach. Slowly we walked down to the sea and looked at our reflections in the water .

Dixie: do you like it here?

Noah: it's beautiful.

Dixie: I grabbed Noah's chin and pulled it into mine, he placed a warm kiss on my cheek

Dixie: take your shoes of babe, feel the sand.

Noah: soon, Dixie and I took off our shoes and carried on exploring the beach, I picked up Dixie and gave her a piggy back, we ran up and down the beach for what felt like ages until I got too tired.

Dixie: then i showed Noah the setup I had planned for him and I brought him to a lifeguard post.

Dixie: there were string lights and cushions which I'd used to decorate and it actually looked really cosy- I was really happy with how it turned out.

Noah: I- you did this for me?

Dixie: for you!

Noah: I kiss Dixie on the lips and then carry her like a baby up the steps.

Dixie: I stroked Noah's hair as he layed down and turned to face me.

Noah: Dixies deep brown eyes stared at me , I couldn't help but think how sexy she was in a sports bra and shorts

Dixie: I shivered so Noah pulled out a giant, thick blanket and wrapped me up like a burrito. I looked up at him and we locked eyes for a few long seconds.

Noah: Dixie, your so so beautiful, I ran my hands carefully through her long, silky black hair and pulled her close to me.

Dixie: I feel safe with you Noah.

Noah: I'll always protect you.

Dixie: after 20 minutes of cuddles I told Noah I'd ordered pizza and it would be coming soon.

Noah: god I love pizza , especially pepperoni.

Dixie: as soon as I said that the pizza arrived.

Noah: mmmm this is yummy.

Dixie: isnt it just.

Noah: I wish I could stay here in this moment forever.

Dixie: me too , life is way way too short. Hey... let's go for another walk.

——they both head off into the sunset—

*10 months later*

Dixie: So .... me and Noah are so so happy with everything in our lives and we have a lot of love for eachother. I have been looking for places to buy here in LA but I took fancy to a small cottage in Cornwall, UK.

To my surprise, 9 months ago I found out I was pregnant with a beautiful baby girl and we named her Maddie grace D'amelio.

Noah was always by my side and he hasn't left me alone in any of this.

Soon we are to get married and we are planning on moving to the UK and starting a new life out there. I'm really excited for this new adventure.

—-at dixies—-

Noah: hey little Maddie, our little rainbow baby !

Dixie: she looks like you so much Noah.

Noah: but she definitely has your eyes.

Dixie: our own little family.

Noah: a happy tear popped out of Noah's eye as he stroked Maddies tiny head.

Dixie: I leant on Noah's shoulder as we held hands and looked across at the bright lights of Downtown LA

Noah: damn I loved this girl.

Dixie: hey , remember this ring?

Noah: of course I do dix that's the first ever ring I bought you when we started dating.

Dixie: this is going to be with me forever, I will always have this ring as long as I'm with you.

Noah: I love you baby- wait what was that

Noah: not again .Maddie has woken up!

Dixie: hey little girl it's okay baby! Don't cry.

Dixie: I tried to comfort her but I couldn't however as soon as Noah picked her up she fell back, sound asleep on the bed.

Noah: now she's asleep again  I'll go and make a coffee.

Dixie: I'll be in here with Maddie.

Noah: I'll bring it in when it's brewed.

Dixie: (talking to Maddie) you know little one, your dad is perfect for me. He's always there for me through thick and thin and you should be so grateful to have him here to support you and love you , some day you'll grow all big and you will understand what I'm talking about (giggles and starts to happily cry)
But for now I want you to be good for your dad because Mom didn't exactly treat him too well in the past and he has given me so many chances. You know what's funny (wipes her tears) if me and your dad never resolved that silly little argument, you my little treasure, will have never been born. (Dixie kisses her forehead as soft as a feather so she doesn't wake her)

Noah: here's your coffee baby!

Dixie: to a new start!

Noah: to us.

Dixie and Noah ended up taking this.

omg! I can't believe I've finished this book, I'll admit it wasn't the best but it was the first one I've written! After the holidays ill be writing more Doah stories so stay tuned!
