Noah: the staff in the store signal to us to go out the back where there was a room that was made incase of a situation like this.
Dixie: damn it. I started shaking once again and eventually my breathing started to get out of control. Noah was well aware of what was happening and he had found ways to calm me. He got out his phone and let me do some breathing exercises. After that I felt a lot better
Noah: gunshots rang out around the mall and eventually we heard them getting closer.
Dixie: at this point I was really panicked. Noah tried everything to keep me calm but I wanted to get out as fast as I could.
Dixie: Noah. I'm really scared.
Noah: hey. I know and I am too but we're gonna be safe okay (quietly kisses her on her forehead)
Noah: now the gunshots were really close and we were all extremely frightened... I was still unsure of what was happening so I tried to think positively, but it was getting exceedingly difficult.
Dixie:I looked into Noah's, tired vulnerable eyes and then I looked away, everything went black.
Noah: Dix?! I whispered.
Noah: shit! Not now baby please.
—— eventually we heard sirens and a lot of shouting.——-
Noah: dix?! You can wake up now... its okay we're safe.
Dixie: my eyes felt tired and sore but they gradually flicked open. I still felt lightheaded so Noah made me stay put.
Noah: soon enough, we got the all clear to make it out of the mall but it wasn't over yet. Where was Charli and Marc? And Heidi...
Dixie: it was so weird. I just wanted this to all be a dream... I couldn't believe this had just happened. I started to cry and Noah wrapped his warm ,muscular arms around me whilst he intermittently wiped the tears from off my face.
Noah: In the distance people started to appear from their hiding places.
Noah: including Marc, charli and Heidi.
Dixie: omg... phew I'm so happy that they're safe.
Noah: me too.
Dixie: mom, dad char !
Heidi: Dixie!!
Noah: finally. I was overjoyed to see them all come out safe.
Dixie: cmon guys we better get out of here before more crazy shit happens.
Heidi: I take Dixie and Charli and hold their hands whilst Noah strokes Dixies hair.
Dixie: when we were in the car we were all a little shaken up but so glad no one had been hurt.
Noah: hey dix ( he turns to face her and taps her shoulder )
Dixie: yeah?
Noah: I- I just wanted to say I'm so glad that your safe. I- can't imagine being without you.
Dixie: I feel warm butterflies in my stomach the feeling I always get when he's around.
Heidi: I turn around and notice Noah and Dixie being all lovey in the backseat so I leave them alone.
Charli: wow. I genuinely can't believe that just happened, it all seems so strange.
Marc: hey Charli. It's okay to be scared , it's not something that you have ever experienced before but I'm glad you have, now we all know how to keep eachother safe and protected.

Dixie: oh , we're here?
Heidi: yeah I did say it wasn't much of a long drive.
Dixie: (shrugs) meh.
